How does this item differ from your Nailtiques Formula 2 Nail protein 14ml at Â£12.99 + Â£2.86 p&p - is it the same thing in different packaging?

as far as I am aware it is the same thing just in a different packaging, bottle just the same

Can I use this over shellac?

No, its a Protein that needs to be on the nail. If you have Nailtiques, you are lucky because it is out of stock everywhere.!

I've had my bottle 5 months, 1/3rd is left but it's very thick and gloopy. Is there anything I can do to thin it so that I can use what's left?

I've had the same problem and both these have worked: 1. Leaving the bottle closed, turn it upside down and leave until the solution drops down. The solution will still be thick, but at least you can use it! OR: 2. Add JUST A LITTLE of some nail varnish remover,( you can always add a bit more) put cap back on, shake vigorously and then try. Hope either of these work for you!
