This was an awesome buy.
This was the perfect size for the work that I do. The appearance looks amazing and the quality is very good. It has a great grip for the handle and the it's light weight too. The durability is great and it's reasonable priced as well. Only thing that I noticed was that the side nail puller needed to be a little deeper so I took a grinder and made it deeper.

Great quality
Great hammer, good quality at a amazing price, lost the magnet the second day. I myself never use the magnet to hold a nail so not an issue for me but would recommend putting some quality epoxy behind the magnet to hold it in if that matters to you

Good product
Good product for the money. I work as a framer and it's held up so far. I have used it for over a month and it still looks new. Only thing I noticed compared to my estwing 28oz it doesn't have the umph I expected from it being a 28oz hammer to drive concrete nails. It rattles my hand when driving them in. Other than that it's a good product.

Well made and good looking hammer.
Nice hammer. It's really well made. I'm a licensed plumber and accidentally left my hammer on a job somewhere. I needed to order a new one. I was going to order another Estwing. I had a quality hammer. When I started looking on Amazon (because I was lazy and just wanted to order something for next day without going to the Depot) I found this hammer. It looked good and also had the option for the cap. I've actually never seen hammers with that option but that will definitely come in handy. I can definitely use the softer cap for certain things. When it arrived I could see how well made it is. I'm very happy with it and it was cheaper than the hammer I was originally going to get. Also it doesn't look like anyone else's hammer. I had the Estwing with the blue handle. I see those all the time on jobs. It's possible someone grabbed mine by accident. Its less likely to happen with this hammer. I put my initials on all my tools but mistakes happen. As long as no one takes my Milwaukee Forge batteries by accident, I can handle it. These batteries are costing more than the tools these days. That's a whole other issue but this hammer is great.

Unique Tool with Plenty of Force
This framing hammer is working great for nailing electrical boxes to studs. It works especially well with the cross hatch face and does not cause fatigue when using. I prefer the California framing hammers due to the abundance of old oak joists where I live. I bought an Estwing California framer to use at home because I prefer their hammers overall but do not want it stolen at work. The Special Ops is unique enough that I am able to easily locate it if it dissappears. Great tool!
