Nice product. It was actually not hard to put together. The directions were simple to follow. The only issue is had was the package that contained the screws, washers, etc. The paperback separated from the plastic. I was locating screws in the box and actually lost the single washer that I needed. Overall I'm happy with the grill.

Just finished assembly and all seems as it should. This is my second infared Charbroil grill. The first lasted 10 years with only the replacement of the grates several times. This newer model although made with more plastic seems to be better constructed. Porcelain coating on the grates, smarter striker, flat top grill included, large set of wheels for moving, and more room between the grill and the warming rack. I was able to use my last natural gas conversion with the new model as it does not need any diaphragm modifications simply connect the flex line. Assembly took some time but nothing crazy. It does take two folks for several of the movements. I'm expecting this grill to last for years to come. In addition, for the money and for the grilling results it's an easy recommendation.

This bbq is awesome. It is the first grill I ever owned that completely cooks meat all the way through. Easy to clean. Use bbq brush and leave on high for a few minutes and it will burn off all residue. Metal burning plates are a pain. They move around if you are not careful.

The grill was delivered with the box in great shape absolutely no damage. I had the grill together in about 1.5 hours, instructions are very easy and all screws lined up perfectly. This a very well built grill.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Appears to be of good quality. I do like how the griddle actually requires part of the grates to he removed and fits in just above the burners. The griddle also stores on a hangar under the grill. The assembly instructions are rudimentary, just stay with it and you'll be fine.

I'm a bit conflicted about this grill. And frustrated the reviews I watched didn't mention a very significant detail. This Amplifire/Infrared tech really changes the whole grilling experience. I feel almost as though I'm not grilling. But it does still cook things well. The main issue is that the fire is covered. You don't see it, you don't feel it. There are grilling grates but they sit over a long sheet of metal. That really kills the grilling experience. You might as well throw you steak on your oven grates. And it's not optional since without it, there's nothing covering the burners. Also, I've had an issue where I turn on the grill and about 70% of the time, it's very low. Since I can't see the flames, I don't notice until about 5 minutes later when I see my steaks are still cold. I simple restart usually fixes the problem but it's still annoying when I'm trying to time everything to be done at the same time. There are small ventilation holes where you can peek in but its hard to distinguish a small flame from a strong one through the tiny opening. I'm trying to get used to the sound difference so I can tell when it has actually kicked on full blast. Oh, and that long sheet of metal makes it more complicated to clean.

Solid engineering makes this a great versatile grill

grill is nice, not easy to assemble however. had some damage and I contacted Amazon customer service, did and online chat, sent a picture of damage, never heard back.
