I don’t know if my husband or I have more fun with this shaving cream! Nice pleasant scent, good quality Products, easy to use.

I was curious about wet shaving and purchased this kit to get me started, rather than purchase all of the components separately. To start, it was relatively inexpensive. You would pay more if you bought each item separately, and you would probably buy a better quality item for each. But that was the point. I wasn’t sure I was going to stick with it, so I was unwilling to make the investment in better tools. Since I decided to keep wet shaving, I have upgraded the shave cream and the brush. I’m still using the tiny bowl and I am happy with the quality of it. I really am taken with the shaving bowl. It’s on the small side, and that works for me. It allows me to lather up in the bowl completely, and probably causes me to be more economical with the shave cream. In case you’re curious, the shave cream I’m using is Supply Ultra Lather Shave Cream. I recommend it without reservation. I also recommend that you consider using shaving oil. I have had a good experience with Woody’s for men shave oil.

The soap smells good and lathers reasonably well. I started off incorrectly but, after reading a couple of articles, had much better results, though, I’ve never gotten the aerosol type foam you see in the adverts. I did end up getting another steel bowl but a small tea or coffee cup will work just fine. I’ve found that I don’t need much.

Christmas gift for my husband. He picked it out. He really likes the shaving soap and the of using the brush to apply. Nice quality.

Brush works well. Soap cup really not necessary, I uses Nivea gel with soap brush, Works great, No better than soap in kit,

Fantastic kit! Perfect for beginners as it includes almost everything you need for a perfect shave. I especially like the quality of the brush and the stainless steel cup which can be kept forever if looked after. Very happy with the entire contents and would recommend.

The quality of the foam and brush was below my expectations. My search for an alternative continues.
