Tremendous power tool. If you like “in line cut saws” you’ll love this. Your hand the handle the blade, the LED and the sight line are all in one straight line. So much more natural than the “side winder” types that are constantly torquing your hand toward the blade. Instead of a direct drive they’ve used a belt so the blade bolt sits right down on the shoe giving you a deeper cut than any of the 6 1/2 inch saws I looked at. Very close to a 7 1/2 inch. I bought this from Amazon with the saw, blade battery, charger and carry bag for what Lowe’s wanted for the bare tool. This came with the old style 5 amp hour battery. Fine for my usage. I’ve never run it dry. They now have a 8 amp hour “stacked lithium “ the size of my 5 amp. I’ve been using this mainly on pressure treated lumber for deck repairs and breaking down sheet goods. It’s a pleasure to use. Biggest draw back is the lack of blade selection compared to 71/2 inch. This came with a 24 tooth framer but the cuts are so smooth and clean that it makes excellent cuts on plywood.

This is the nicest saw I've ever used. It's really light & well balanced. It's pretty quite as far as saws go. The blade stops really quick. I haven't used the blade it came with. But I'm sure it cuts just fine. It has enough power to cut through 2x4s, plywood, OSB, hardwood etc. All the blade adjustments are really nice, simple & easy to use. I've also used it with dust collection attached & it was really nice. A lot of the dust was collected by the vacuum. The bag it came with is really nice & tough. The battery lasts a long time & the charger is quick. Overall I'm really happy with this product.

Love everything about this saw all its innovative features and what a good deal the kit is. First off the belt driven motor produces 5500 RPMs finally something that's borderline over powered as opposed to the under powered norm👍 and something about a belt drive it just glides through Rips and cross cuts. The fact that the motor is mounted behind and slightly higher then the blade allows you to get 2 9/16 cut capacity just as good as a 7 1/4 on a 6 1/2 blade its just amazingly clever. The true inline center mount blade design is hands down the absolute most comfortable,precise ,and Controllable circular saw lay out that exists and may ever exist. The adjustable dust exhuast port is easily the most innovative tool feature of the year in my opinion it is beyond nice to see a perfectly clean cut line on Rips and works perfectly bonus the thing looks bad ass and has a nice bright led light which is so so useful The battery charge lasts impressively long and I love the large bright easy to read battery charge indicators. I love this company this is the third product I have purchased from them and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Every inch of this saw feels like it was designed by a professional carpenter and if youre a proffesional carpenter or trades person you will absolutely appreciate it. It is the best general purpose circular saw available on the market at this time, period.

This is all 1st impressions as I have had no open projects. It seems very solid and well-made. Fit and finish are high-end. The bag is surprisingly over-built and oversize. Most chargers are vulnerable to overheating, and this one has a (rather noisy) fan. Nice. It has a LED that can be triggered just short of actually triggering the blade. Though the light is not terribly bright, the pre-trigger is appreciated. I am right-handed and this saw is, so to speak, left-handed (no one mentions this?). I am fine with this as, given the narrow footprint, I see this being used in tight spaces and near edges. One of the features I assumed from the majority of the photos and the video was the inclusion of a rip guide. There was no rip guide included with mine. I am pretty sure most in this price class do. This cost a star. Because of the "handedness," the blade screw is reverse thread. This is not marked on the screw's flange, as most similar are. I hope to report back after putting it to some hard use.

I have recently been rincredible!! I paid $149placing my power tools with flex, and so far have been 100% satisfied with my decision to switch. I would rate the flex tools as excellent, however this one has blown me away. I have been cutting stringers with my 15 amp corded porter cable circular saw. The porter cable is cumbersome and very heavy it has been difficult to keep on the cut line, leaving me with some less than optimal cuts. I decided to wait until my Flex 6.5 inch saw arrived. I had watched a review prior to purchasing this tool where the reviewer described it as cutting through soft butter. The butter comment is 100% correct, so smooth, so easy to handle, so simple to keep on the cut line. I never knew a tool could be this good, simply amazing! I paid $149 for this entire kit, charger 5 amp battery, bag, and saw, WHAT A DEAL!!!!

Opened box to put the battery on charge and found the battery had leaked all over the box. Returned immediately so I never had the opportunity to use the saw.

Ordered as part of a set of tools for another job site location. Amazing! Flex's 24V tools are powerful, rugged, and battery recharge time is rapid. Better than my set of 20V DeWalt tools. Definitely recommend! Will be ordering more.

I’ve slowly been switching to flex so I can write honest reviews about them and I can tell that I am loving the way these saw cute through osb like it was 1/2 ply it’s amazing. It cuts deeper than a 71/4 saw which I absolutely love about this saw it’s a great saw for anyone diyer or a professional which I am a professional been in the trade for about 5 years and I am in love wish flex I wish I knew about there products sooner I would’ve switched in a heart beat. They don’t lie when they say the battery lasts all freaking day and when it dies and you have a fast charger 20 minutes and it’s charged. This saw though I highly recommend to buy.
