A great set of resin dyes at a good price
I've had chance to have a good play around with these dyes and you'll see some of my in progress tests in my photos. I'm very new to playing with resin and we are using it for the children to make mummy a present for xmas. This set is much easier on the pocket than alcohol dyes (which is what you'll see a lot of people on YT videos using) and they do behave slightly differently but keep this in mind and you might agree the cost saving makes them much better value. I found that these dyes worked best when they were thoroughly mixed into the resin, without mixing they just sit on the surface (where alcohol based might evaporate and cure). This doesn't mean that you can't use them to create droplet patterns in your casts it just means that you need to take the time to do it properly and mix it with a small amount of resin, and then use this mix for your droplets. This seems to work fine. I found that a little of the pigments goes a long way. If you want to make the piece more opaque start by building up a white based mix first, and then adding the feature colour droplets of dye one the white is mixed in. It uses a bit more dye, but gives a nice deep and opaque colour. The range of colours is quite impressive, with various tones within the main colour groups. The labels did need pressing back into place at the edges but they were still attached to the bottles quite well.

Good
These thin the resin out preventing curing but they are nice colours

Good set for price paid
Bought this specifically as states they are useable for UV resin if mixed in before curing and small amount used. Can confirm I have been able to successfully use these without damaging moulds when working with UV resin. Good quality colour from very small amount of dye used. Would recommend and buy again. Unable to comment on how well the colour lasts as not made any pieces for significant time yet.

They are OK. Lot of different colours to choose which is good. The pigment is not really strong but is ok.

Good range of colours
I use these with epoxy resin. They mix well and 1 or 2 drops go a long way. In the picture the guys along the top row have 1 drop of colour. The squares have 3 drops (magenta green and blue are from another make). I had no problems with the resin drying and it easy to dispense drop by drop from the bottle.

Great product, great price.
Great product for messing around with resin. I use craft resin and this works well for getting good pigmentation of colour. Nice vibrant colours that you can make translucent or opaque. Worth the money but these are not alcohol inks so might not work for some designs.

For the price and array of colors in comparison to the price of trying to buy these solo-bottled at a regular art store? This can't be beat! Highly recommend trying this colorant out. A few other resin artists have asked what I use and said they would be purchasing. With 18 different / varying colors, it's really easy to mix your own custom colors as well. I also haven't had any issues at all with leaking / overdripping -- besides using the "Cream" white color, but I squeezed that one too hard. Oops! The only, tiny little thing I have an issue with was this statement on the product page here: "A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY - High concentration of UV resin color pigment, just a drop and you will be shocked by the strong dyeing effect." Honestly, it takes a lot more than just 3 drops (as it states on the individual bottles) to make a nice, deep, vivid color (I counted about 8 - 13 drops depending on the color to get a rich, heavy coloration), but with how well it works? That's small potatoes to worry over. 5-Stars overall for everything. When I run out (which hopefully won't be any time soon), I'll be purchasing these again so long as they're available!

Work great and easy to use

Awesome, colours are great and very strong, needing only a small amount to add colour to resin.

These are extremely pretty, just don't use too much foe UV resin, we found that they didn't cure properly when we used a lot of color concentrated in one area.

Disclosure: I bought this product at full price like a normal person. 3D printer UV resin is expensive enough already, and paying a ton of money for colors I might use a few times feels wasteful. I could say a lot about this product, but all you really need to know is 1) it's well packaged, 2) it's easy to mix thoroughly, and 3) it totally works. The pink in the pictures is from the "peach" color, which was very obviously a deep pink looking at the bottle. All the colors are named after fruits or flowers, so it'll be nice and easy to keep track of what I used in my notebook. I put 10 drops into 30mL of white resin (the mixing cup picture is after 5 drops), and the results speak for themselves. A drop is officially measured as 0.05mL, so there'll be about 200 drops in a bottle. Given all the different colors included, this set will make a LOT of pretty prints. I'm neeeeever buying pre-colored resin!! PS: I also bought amber-tinted glass bottles to store my mixed colors in (https://amzn.to/2NZE6gU)
