Nice bird house
This bird house is beautiful but no instruction included… but easy to put together The only thing I don’t understand is LOL …. How the dress will stay in bird feeder… I think it’s not possible… but didn’t try yet;)

Poorly engineered
No directions for assembly, wood splits when screws inserted, pilot holes don't align well with frame, roof unstable, no hanger. The free suet feeder doesn't go together at all.

Looks nice
We have a mother robin that likes to build her nest on our deck. Unfortunately for her, I closed that area off. I scared her away a lot last year and felt bad, so I got this shelf house for her instead. Sadly I think I put it up too late - she wasn’t interested. But it will be there for her next season if she wants it. Or any other shelf-nester in the area that wants to use it. I don’t charge rent. Assembly was relatively easy. I didn’t use the suet feeder - I felt that it would be difficult to clean and I didn’t feel like messing with it. The size should be adequate for shelf nesting birds. Does anyone know how to write a sign for the birds so they know they can nest there? I’d love to host another robin family if they’d give the shelf a try.

assembly required
disappointed assembly required. no instructions and no predrilled holes. I give myself a C on the outcome. Plus I may be a little dense because it took me quite a while to figure it out. Because there are no predrilled holes mine turned out a little quirky. the birds will probably be ok with it but might get a little drizzle on their backs.

No instructions!!!
No assembly instructions. Screw holes did not align well causing screws to break through into nesting area and roof was not flush on walls-hope it doesn’t leak. The suet cage-really? How does the cable work.

Good for medium sized birds
It’s not difficult to put together. Put some coconut fiber in it. Make sure it’s stable. Put it it in an accessible, safe place and wait for birds to come! It keeps rain off of nesters.

Great nesting box
Love this wooden open front nesting box. Fits small to medium size birds. Looks so cute as well.
