This desk took me 5 hours to put together because the way they tell you to build the desk in the manual makes it really hard difficult and the manual itself contracts itself towards the end. The instructions tell you attach the legs to the frame first then screw if to the desk, but the legs are so heavy that it’s impossible to align it properly. And as you can see in the picture I attached, the arrangement of the desk control panel and the power supply changes for no reason and I’m so confused why they would do this when these things need to be screwed into the desk. I had to undo and rebuild the desk twice to actually to get this right and insert the metal tab that holds the power supply in place. The most frustrating part was that after I built this desk, I noticed that there was a noticeable dent in the desk top that I didn’t notice before because I was too busy trying to put the desk together. I’m very disappointed with this process especially since I spent hours putting together a desk with a dent right in the middle. I have a bamboo table that I bought years ago from IKEA and that table top is still scratch free and have no visible dents, yet this table I spent more money on has this dent and I haven’t event started using it. I threw the boxes right away when I finished building this desk because I was overall satisfied, but that was before I realized this issue so I can’t even return the desk. For those looking to purchase this desk, I would advise them to check throughly for scratches and dents first, then attach the frame to the desk before attaching the legs.

I bought two and it is quit heavy than other models of this brand. But it looks very sturdy. The bamboo board is about ¾ inch thick. So be careful when you drill a hole to secure the frame.

Mine just stopped working in 1 year 2 months. Seems like motors failed. No value for money. Even though the desk is sturdy, my motors failed when the desk positioned at a height that I could no longer use this desk.

Needless to say, after looking at the pricing on the Flexispot web site, Amazon provides us with a much better value with its site-specific model, the E6. Unlike its own universal models (ie: E7), Flexispot offers the E6 with casters - a big plus for a very flexible desk. The durability of the E6 is excellent. And the weight of the shipping box for the frame indicates as such. Be careful, as you'll need to supply some specific directions to the courier. I had to open the box and take the components up to my apt individually. So be aware. The instructions are good, but be sure to read them even before the cardboard is opened. There are some YouTube videos too. The bamboo table top is high quality and the packaging is superb, especially the hefty 'courier corners' that prevent major edge damage. Keep the table top on the pkg during assembly. No need for a drill, as I used a ratchet with philips and allen key sockets. You will need to start some minor pilot holes for the controller and the middle support attachments. Once assembled, the unit performed flawlessly. I especially like the available height, as I can slide my chair right under the raised desk for space savings. One little hint: when programming the desired height settings, simply click the 'M' button: don't press & hold it. Now, it's time to see how durable the completed desk will be.
