I have a huge strong German Shepherd, will the lead be strong enough to hold him

I have a 50 kilo American bulldog who really pulls - especially as he is dog reactive and it holds him. He can't pull out of my hands which makes me feel so much more confident.

would this suit a chunky chihuhua?

I’ve found the lead quite chunky so probably more suited to medium to large dog breads. I use mine with a rather strong Airedale terrier!

I noticed the same thing happening on mine but before it completely came apart, I mended it by sewing and over sewing to make stronger. I love this dog lead and that has been the only negative thing. Otherwise it’s been brilliant.

I have a miniature schnauzer. She loves to run and so do i. Woud this lead be "too strong" for her? As in will the bungee be too strong?

It’s difficult to answer. If the dog stops suddenly you might pull her with a jerk towards you, My puppy is 28 Kgs and I tend to get pulled towards him slightly if he stops suddenly. It is definitely a great lead to use and if she is used to running beside and doesn’t randomly stop, it shouldn’t make a difference. The Bungy is strong but only recoils if pulled by a heavy weight.
