A must have addition to the Sony HT-ZF9
If your looking at buying these speakers then obviously you have purchased the Sony Ht-Zf9 and your wondering if it’s even worth buying these to complement the soundbar. Well in a word yes! I would say these are a must have for the soundbar howether I cannot justify the money they cost in fact I think they should just come with the soundbar as a whole package, but they don’t and yes they cost a lot but honestly I haven’t looked back and my home cinema is now complete! I like how they are wireless (still have to be plugged in to a mains) this means no messy wires clipped around the lounge. Only trouble is I keep thinking there’s someone in the house and kind of scares the kids sometimes but I do love them! (and the kids) To sum up yes they cost a lot but just get them you have already spent a lot on a very good soundbar you might aswell complete it!

Adds that missing piece of sound
When combined with the soundbar and subwoofer it really makes a difference to the lower harder to hear spoken voices. Placed directly behind the sofa you can pickup soft spoken voices much clearer without pumping the volume levels up. Also a fuller sound experience, worth the extra money. Easy mounting holes on the back of each speaker. The speakers have a power cable on each left and right speaker, so 2 plugs to be plugged in.. the speakers automatically connect via bluetooth, we did not need to do any configuration it worked right out of the box.

Essential with the HTZ9
If you own the Sony HTZ9 soundbar, these are ESSENTIAL. They add SO MUCH to the sound stage that without them the soundbar just isnt the same. With the surround speakers, the soundbar comes to life. Very easy to connect to the soundbar, had no disconnects and are easily adjusted either with the remote or app. The only downside is the cost. It really is WAY over the top for what on there own would be fairly average speakers. I did get a few questions in regards to them been wireless, to answer everyone: Yes they are wireless, but only to the soundbar/subwoofer. They do both require a wall socket for power. There is no option for battery. The speakers provide very good surround effects and have a nice amount of volume/depth to them without distortion. Essential but at a cost.

A must have for the Sony HT-ZF9
Sony's HT-ZF9 soundbar is a great product, however can't quite deliver the "full experience" alone; that's where these wireless rear speakers come in, and they do a mighty fine job. As for the set-up process, it's very simple: Each speaker has a fixed power cable that plugs into a power outlet; once powered on, they may automatically pair with the soundbar which one of mine did, however should that not happen, go to the settings in the menu on the soundbar, then manually link them, just note that you will have to click the link button on both rear speakers and the subwoofer, regardless if one or two are already linked. When placing the speakers, I would highly recommend that there's no direct objects or walls in the line of sight between the soundbar and speakers, otherwise you may notice the odd dipping out. If you put them in an appropriate location, connection is perfect (Stands sold separately). Sound quality is great, it certainly gives the room a more fuller sound, though experience will vary depending on content as sometimes I found the surround to be subtle and other times more intense; regardless, much better with than without them! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Electrical lead could be longer.
These rear speakers are quite small so don't take up much room. Sound quality is good, makes a difference when watching a movie. Only problem I found is that if you want to wall mount them higher up they only have a short lead so unless you have plug sockets everywhere or want an extension lead dangling around you will struggle plugging them in. I had to put them on speaker stands & then locate each speaker to the nearest plug socket.

Expensive but they add tangible value to the experience
Definitely adds to the surround capabilities of the sound bar. Bit on the expensive side for what they actually do but if you’ve got this sound bar then they’re the only choice and they do improve the soundscape and experience so worth it IMO.

Great but lip sync issues.
Great. But I hand lip sync issues with the sound bar these link up to. The speakers are small and sounded great. The worked perfectly. Just I couldn’t. Get anything in sync. You would think aony speakers with a flagship Sony sound bar and flagship Sony TV would work great together but I couldn’t get lip sync in Dolby Atmos correct and everything else needed adjusting manually. I ultimately returned them for a refund.

Great little speakers
Great little speakers do a mighty fine job whilst the htzf9 does a superb job on it's own these little beauties in my opinion make it come alive even more yep they're expensive and probably not worth the price but if I hadn't purchased them I suppose I'd have been wondering what if so my advice would be if you've got the Sony htzf9 soundbar without a doubt get them you won't be disappointed
