Great rivet nuts
These rivet nuts worked great. Used them to fasten a catalytic converter cover with security screws underneath my tacoma. Will buy them again.

Get a good tool to install.
Works as intended, these are stainless and tough to crimp. Install can be difficult without a good tool that can provide the needed leverage to crimp. They look durable and perform like other riv nuts when secured properly. Hope the splines help prevent rotating when the time comes to remove the bolt. I used antiseize for extra rust / corossion prevention.

This rivnut kit is really good. I used the M6 size to carry out a repair on a classic mini seat bracket. I would definitely recommend these.

These things make you feel like a true professional. No more self-tappers! You will find yourself wanting to put these in everything (especially car related). I recommend using this to find the size most common for your needs, and then buying 100-pc of said size with a pack of bolts. I primarily use M5 so ended up buying more M5 Riv-nuts and a pack of various length bolts. M5 is great for holding down anything that's not substantially heavy. I use it for my Oil Cooler, Ice-Tank, Door Cards, and Coolant Clamps. For something like a hanging-heat-exchanger I use M6. Note: Package did arrive cracked, causing the smaller ones to pour into the Amazon Bag.
