Simply put, this TV does it all. You watch movies? Play games? Concerned about how various content (SDR/HDR/gaming) look and perform? The LG C4 showcases it and does it perfectly. The form factor is incredibly thin and the TV is very well engineered. The HDR highlights pop off the screen. The contrast is perfect. The onboard sound system is not optimal, but lets be real… if your getting this TV you have a soundbar/surround setup in mind already. I have the Bose 900 soundbar with sub and surrounds and it sounds so good. Gaming on the PS5 with this TV is absolutely incredible and is a delight.Many reviewers complain of a brightness diminishment in the game optimizer, but this has never bothered me. If I wanted a brighter TV, it would be solely to sear my retinas into blindness. That being said, the game optimizer menu feels like it belongs in your games and like it is a part of your gaming console. It’s just intuitive. Play Returnal, Astro Bot, Horizon, or GOW and you will be grinning from ear to ear.At $1396 for the 65” inch variant, this is a no-brainer. Perhaps reviewers will suggest the Samsung S90D with a QD-OLED panel, but I will ask… would you sacrifice slightly enhanced color vibrancy for inferior image processing? The LG Alpha 9 gen 7 processor is pretty dang incredible. My previous TV was a Sony and I must say that LG has come a LONG way with their processing. It’s on par with Sony at this point. Samsung can’t say the same and at the end of the day, it’s the image quality that counts. The LG C4 has it. The LG G4 is alluring, but we’re reaching a point of diminishing returns. If slightly amped up HDR highlights are worth an extra $900, then you lost the value to performance game. This is TV most everybody should be looking at from a value to performance standpoint.The OS is smooth, but I opted for an Apple TV interface and it has been nothing short of incredible. With Quick Media Switching, everything you connect to this TV will be buttery smooth. Everything you do on this TV will be incredibly immersive. I have no buyer’s remorse and am incredibly happy with my purchase.You get 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs at 144hz if you’re a PC gamer. You get incredible SDR, HDR, and Dolby Vision/Atmos support. You can fine-tune settings on this TV by input setting or by viewing content medium until your heart is content. You get 5 years of OS updates. Tell me what there isn’t to like. Reviewers mention that off-angle viewing has a green tint, but this is overstated and I have not encountered it with my particular panel. So, I wouldn’t worry much about what they say. Get this TV, get a nice soundbar/surround setup, and get an Apple TV 4K and you will be enthralled, I promise.

I've been wanting a C series for a long time and finally got one. Mac Mini M4 Pro using a Highwings HDMI cable (ASIN B08M9HND4F). Picture quality is fantastic. Whites are white. Blacks are black. So much cleaner than my LG IPS display from 2020. Build quality appears to be great except I would have liked hex screw heads for the feet instead of the normal Phillips or JIS style. With the recent price drop I think this is a fantastic purchase.For functionality, WebOS, in my opinion is slow. Even basic settings takes a few seconds for the menu to come up. You are presented with various terms and agreements that you have to agree to. I've only agreed to two of them and so far there hasn't been any more nags. Unfortunately, I find the agreement terms to be less than desirable but I'm still keeping the tv.WebOS has your standard streaming service apps built in. Plex works well. Youtube works well. I haven't tried the other apps but I assume they function just as well. Sound quality is good. Nothing fancy. If sound is important and you won't be using headphones then grab a soundbar. HDMI audio does pass through from the Mac so that works.Bad part.. The Mac Mini M4 does not support HiDPI so those 4k resolutions are okay for graphics but text is not going to look good. I'm running it at 2560x1440 which is what I've been used to and have no is sues with blury text. I've also installed Better Display to help with quick tweaks for brightness and resolution if I want to do any quick changes. Overall I'm pretty happy with this purchase and would recommend the LG C4 and absolutely if you can find one on sale!

I went through a long process trying to decide which TV to purchase. I run a 5.1.2 Atmos home theatre through a gaming PC with a powerful graphics card and I wanted a TV suitable for high end PC gaming, UHD movies, and included eARC connections for smart home integration. The TV is very slim with a thin black bezel and a box-like protrusion in the back that houses much of the electronics. The picture is bright, clear, and handles many resolutions very well rarely if ever displaying motion blur or screen tearing. Newer 4k movies look flawless and smooth. Older lower resolutions upscale better than any other TV I've seen and greatly improve the viewability. Running all my connections like game consoles, and PC, through the eARC on my audio receiver into one eARC HDMI on the TV was easy to do and made the TV work with voice command on Alexa. The TV sometimes runs a pixel cleaning mode that is supposed to preserve the quality of the images it can display and I'm grateful for this feature. I had a friend visit shortly after I purchased this TV and he went out and bought one for himself he was so impressed. I love the sleek modern look, the quality materials, and the relatively user friendly software in this TV. The included remote has the pointer mouse feature which I also think is helpful.

I bought the smallest screen at 42" to use a gaming and work monitor. Anything bigger and I would have to move my head to see everything. The information below might still apply if you are getting a bigger screen.**** 5 stars for picture and sound which are really wonderful especially if you have not used an OLED screen before.minus * 1 star for the lackluster menu system and included soft button remote control which is slow to respond to button presses. Maybe LG app which might be better to use?Some tips if you getting an OLED / LG C-Series TV and using it as monitor:Remember it's an OLED TV, so enable all the settings in the menus to protect your beautiful TV screen from burn-in.If you are using this as a computer monitor, turn on your video card Sync and HDR in your computer's software, then enable the same settings in the menus. Also add and setup Game Optimizer to the input menu if you are playing games.If you are using Windows 11 (or 10), search for how to: auto hide your Task Bar, cycle through different desktop backgrounds and hide desktop icons to avoid burn-in.Enjoy!

Exceptionally great television! Every step from opening the box to finally laying back and enjoying the product is easy and intuitive. The inputs are on the side of the rear and easily reachable even when the set is mounted to the wall. There's no need to awkwardly swing the unit up partway while it's hooked on the mount in order to reach the input plugs. No mirrors or third hands needed.The picture quality is incredible. Colors are ludicrously vivid. Bright areas are appropriately bright and dark areas are perfectly dark. The HDR10 is perfect for modern games built on that standard. There's a lot of settings to thumb through so the set is highly customizable. I simply searched YT for some 4K OLED-specific videos to calibrate the picture. As far as sound goes... The audio is pretty good for native speakers on a flat set. It's not going to blow you away obviously, but the quality is crisp and clear. The audio doesn't get muddy as the volume reaches higher and higher levels.I can't attest to the AI upscaling or AI audio as I haven't had a chance to play with it for too long yet. If anything majorly noteworthy comes about, I'll update this review.The remote is easy to use. It's not like the first generation of wand-style remotes that were inaccurate and finicky. The wand feature isn't forced on you but instead is offered as an option. You can use it like a regular remote. The remote even feels like a classic remote. No funky shape or awkward grip. You know if you're holding it the right way up in the dark.The settings tab is great as well. There's a "quick settings" tab that can be opened up with a single button on the remote. This tab offers settings such as sleep timer, picture profile, audio profile, blue light filter, ... etc. You can add any and all settings to the quick tab which is convenient.The TV has a neat feature where it will turn on your PS5 when you switch to that input and visa-versa. I'm sure it's the same with other consoles and select electronics.Final notes: It's a wonderful set. It's incredibly light and the screen is really thin. If you're looking for a well-priced set while chasing quality and longevity, look no further. LGs have a comparatively low failure rate. Sony is just ahead of 'em by a very thin margin. The LG has 4 HDMI inputs while Sony's similar model only has 2. You certainly won't be disappointed with the C4 series OLED!

Excellent picture. Perfect size for our living room. Easy to set up.

I hate almost everything about this television. I got it as a splurge to replace the $100 tv we had in our living room thinking I was getting an upgrade. The sound is all over the place, I can almost never hear the dialogue on anything I’m watching. I’m constantly having to change the sound settings for every different thing I put on to try to make it a little better. Every single time I turn it on, I’m getting some alert about how it needs to power off to clean pixels for 10 minutes when the television had already been turned off for 12-30 hours straight and I’m turning it back on for the first time in a significant period of time. The various apps I use are almost always requiring updates before launching - I just don’t see how it’s possible that every app is requiring constant updates which also requires signing out and waiting for the update to re-try. The rolly button on the remote is useless and if the remote is looked at wrong the cursor pops up on the tv and won’t go away until it feels like it’s been ignored long enough. I’m so *not* glad that I thought I’d treat myself with upgrading our television. I hate using this tv, I wish I could just throw it out the window.
