It's really well made (though a little more slop in the drive mech than I would like to see) it is a bit too heavy, and the button placement requires you to hold it in an unnatural way, but you get used to it after a bit. Would be best if the button was 2" from the tip, rather than more than 1/2 way to the back (it makes the grip location useless, you can't hold it in the lower area at all), but the speed is nice, and the power is a perfect cutout for screws in plastic, as a dad of 2 I am constantly taking apart broken toys and either fixing them or silencing them (like popping a small resistor on a overly loud speaker) this makes that work easier, I do wish they had longer bits or an extender so you can get to some of the deeper screws.

I bought this tool after watching and subscribing to a YouTube channel @electronicsrepairschool, I was amazed at how it worked as he was talking and opening a laptop he was repairing. It actually followed his hand movement.... the tool is pretty cool. I own an industrial service repair company and rely on well made tools, I really like this tool. No issues with it!

I bought my first es21 about a year ago and fell in love. It’s by far the strongest electric screwdriver I’ve ever used. I got bored and decided to take it apart like I do a lot of stuff, well I broke the display and was immediately upset. I placed an order for a new one not 30 mins after I broke it. All the good things aside there are a few things that annoy me, the magnet is strong enough to keep the bits in place but not strong enough to keep a small screw at the tip. Not a deal breaker but it is annoying. The next thing is with the unstick feature on it which jolts the head a bit in the opposite direction to unbind the bit from the screw, when you use the unstick feature at the max torque limit it never engages. Very minor things Other than that, the battery life, torque, and build are all excellent

Over all this driver is nice and in most use cases works flawless. At first there was an issue where it barely worked. After some research I did the firmware upgrade and works great ever since. I paired it with a nice toolkit that has really good bits and some pry tools. I use it almost every day. It would be a 5 star but the fact that it didn't ship with modern firmware knocked one off.

This could have been good but I received it with issues. After contacting the seller about this they wanted me to troubleshoot the issues with their technician . I didn’t pay such a high price to fix your issues maybe at a discount. Because time is money. . As much as these cost you would think they are checked for quality and ready to go. That’s why I purchased it . I needed this for a business trip and thought for that price it should be the best! Although it did work ,it was glitchy and questionable with the programming and in my opinion not up to par for the price range it’s in. Also this thing is really heavy and comes with no way to organize the bits . Why such a little case with a big foam cut out for the bits? How was this supposed to work out? I will say this screw driver is beautiful and quite marvelous when it comes to the style and the idea behind it . But, it should be made with lightweight aluminum, up to date software, also triple checked for quality assurance and convenience. Maybe, the next one will be the one for me.

Es15s now is slightly quieter and the gearbox is slightly more precise. It also turns slightly faster. It's just a slightly higher quality version of the ES-15, and with the right firmware it does wonders. Review 1 of 2: I am returning my ES15s as it had a physical defect. The physical defect was that the RUN button would repeatedly get stuck in the run mode (see video). By design, the only way to get the ES15S to rotate is to hold the RUN button down but as you can see in the video, the ES15S would continue to spin even though the RUN button was not even touched. I would have to physically slide the button side to side to get it "unstuck" in order stop it from spinning. I totally understand that these products are mass produced and a small percentage of them will have issues. I debated about disassembling the ES15S to resolve the issue myself OR even returning it for a replacement HOWEVER the ES 15S just didn't meet my needs so I'm asking for a refund. Oh and they absolutely need to FIX the firmware update website. What a joke! Mine came w/ Software version 1.61S already installed. BUT after wasting an hour or so to search if a more current firmware existed, all I could find was an older v1.60. What the hell? See next review.... Review 2 of 2: The design and functionality of the ES15S is truly amazing! Simply hold a button & slowly rotate the ES15S and it will automatically spin in that direction is genius! I was very impressed at how precise you could control the velocity of the rotation! HOWEVER, I found the ES15S just didn't meet my needs. I am a computer repair technician. I only disassemble a couple of laptops per week. My current precision rechargeable screwdriver has 2 buttons....Screw Down & Screw Up. It's rotation velocity is slightly slower than the ES15S BUT it serves my purposes. WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM THE ES15S...anyone who must disassemble & reassemble MANY devices per day! Not beneficial to someone who does only a few times a week.
