SEE UPDATE AT BOTTOM OF REVIEW. 3 OCT '25 Review of expensive Hbada Office Chair: This chair was purchased in February '24. I’'d had it less than eleven full months when I had an actionable incident. The current price with additional discounts is now about $200.00 LESS than I paid. It allegedly has a three year warranty, but I'm betting nothing will come of that. A few months ago the lumbar support broke free from where it is mounted to the chair back. With every sit I must physically place it in some position, lean back to test it, make adjustments on a free floating lumbar section that will shift when I try to lean back to test that position. This process always demands three or four attempts to get it right, or close enough to make it serviceable. The chair is designed as fully reclinable with an extending leg support platform. Not long ago I leaned back part way to add drops to my eyes and the chair locked in that position, something I didn't know it was capable of doing. When one would rotate the chair in the normal, upright, back vertical position the circle scribed would be entirely reasonable. Now, with the back projecting out quite a distance, the chair requires repetitious maneuvering, or the space of the Great Plains just to swing around. Additionally the right arm rest, (both rests I've appealed to the manufacturer for a way to lower as they are set far too high, at nearly the arm pit), the right rest shattered leaving sharp edged plastic where your soft-flesh underside of your forearm is supposed to relax. I contacted the company when the lumbar support broke. To my surprise they responded fairly quickly with an offer to replace the chair or refund the full purchase price. They did not make the preposterous demands the item be broken down, a shipping carton obtained and shipped back to them. That there are so many companies demanding the customer go through that to return a defective product that customers bought in good faith merely supports the reality that corporatists are the biggest whiners. In the few months since the original contact with the company regarding the lumbar support, additional parts of the chair are breaking down. I feel as if it is disintegrating visibly. When I responded to the offer of replacement or refund I advised the manufacturer of my continuing experience with the chair and that I was compelled to accept their offer of a full refund. This is quite literally the only chair I have to sit in in my tiny apartment. I am a senior disabled individual on a fixed income. I splurged on what I believed was going to be a solid, durable investment. My income is very limited and I cannot budget a second item of this original purchase price and am dependent upon the manufacturer, Hbada, following through with the refund of the purchase price to be able order a replacement chair. As mentioned this was not a cheep product. I'm a long retired senior with a preposterously bad back. (Torticollis in cervical spine where the vertebrae are gathering calcium deposits and C-6 and C-7 already fused themselves together. There are only five vertebrae in the lumbar area with five corresponding discs. All five of the lumbar discs are herniated. From cervical through sacrum every vertebrae, all of them in the spinal chain, are disintegrating. In my thorax there has developed a severe scoliosis, "the worst I've seen in my career as a physician and surgeon," said my p.c.p.) I needed and thought I was buying a decent product to help support my spine. On my rigidly fixed income this chair was a splurge justified by the belief it would ameliorate some of the constant pain. I'm feeling mercilessly ripped off when an item costing as much as this did is good for only a few months, not even a year, when the a critical element to my needs, the 'adjustable' lumbar structure fails so soon into ownership. I seriously doubt Hbada will make the effort to make this right. My review is factual and direct. My time would be wasted to offer anything else, and when you reach this age you'll better appreciate the significance of that. I cannot create a false review, however if given new evidence, I can include an addendum expressing my gratitude Hbada for honoring their warranty and refunding my money. And, failure to do what is right and decent grants me full privilege I to state that the company has demonstrated it is unworthy of the support of AMAZON customers, nor the patrons of any site that carries the Hbada line. Surprise me, Hbada, Fully refund my money since this product has become a hazard and liability that I hope causes me no further physical injury. I don't think holding my breath until they rectify this matter is a good idea based on the product's performance. Addendum (8 July '25): New information - It has been several months since I requested a refund as the company offered. After a reasonable interval of more than a month the refund had not appeared in my account. I contacted them again. They replied they'd issued a refund months prior. Since it still had not appeared in my account I contacted them again requesting specifics, dates, issue ticket numbers, method, etc., so I could trace the refund. They did not respond to my request for specific information. To this day there is no refund in my account. All correspondence has been processed through the Amazon message system, so Amazon has access to the series of exchanges. Last week I wrote to Amazon concerning what is happening, or not happening. No comment from Amazon as yet, the eighth day, so I wrote again. Worth noting is this chair has an added bit of information in the Amazon listing. It is now categorized as an item that is often returned. My personal policy is, "Don't buy anything with more than ten percent one star ratings or is listed as frequently returned." Sincerely, C.A.R. UPDATE! : 3 OCT '25 When I first contacted the manufacturer he offered a replacement or refund. That was over a year ago. The item now is drastically reduced ion price and is listed as a 'frequently returned' item. I have written again requesting the information from the credit claimed to have been issued. This is my second request. Amazon interceded once and I thought the matter would soon be resolved. To my dismay, frustration and disappointment it has not been received. At nearly $400 at time of purchase this was a splurge for me hoping this would be the last time I would need to do so. It put a strain one my Social Security budget and I need the refund to replace the defective product. As a disabled senior my computer is my connection to the world and I cannot use it if I can't safely and comfortably sit at it. Perhaps other Hbada products are just fine, but my experience with this item has been very unsatisfactory.

Not very comfortable. The lumbar sticks out too much for my taste and not enough adjustment on the lumbar

i recently got this chair after looking into ergonomic chairs since my former gaming chair had started to break a bit. i do love this chair but a few problems is lower back pain and not being able to lock the reclining(to my knowledge). i will say im not very tall im around 5ft to 5'2 but the lower padding thing on the chair just bugs me a lot💔. also, not being able to lock the chair angle brings me a problem as i can never lay down without having to put pressure or force to stay down.. im not trying to be "im so petite and small" but not being very heavy its hard to keep the reclining back🙁. the headrest also doesn't lock(to my knowledge) so thats also a bit tedious to hear the clicking sound whenever i put my head back. love the chair! but for people on the smaller side, it might not be for u💔
