Keychron delivers another high value enthusiast keyboard. I am a casual keyboard enthusiast for perspective. I am aware of some more expensive and drop only brands/models but Keychron just does the trick for me as I have 6 of their keyboards now (Two K2, Two V1, One V1 Max and One V2 Max).The 2.4ghz wireless is actually really good, I can't notice any lag with key presses. Range is way more than enough, I walked about 5ft away from the computer and it still easily picked up the key presses. It can also get into the computer BIOS without issue too since the signal lock happens fast.The sound profile is nice too. I prefer the V-series over the Q-Series which can be pingy rather than the deeper tone I prefer. I have V series keyboards now with yellow, red, oil kings and north polls, they all sound good on the V-series (and Max).Knob versions, I require this now. I use it for volume and the pressing it is mapped to "media play" which will pause/play whatever is going on (music or videos).I tend to like to move my keyboard around on my desk so the weight is enough so it stays put but not annoying to slide around on my mouse type desk mat. The Q-series is too heavy to just slide, you basically have to lift it up which can be annoying if you move your keyboard intentionally a few times a day.Battery, no idea on how long it will last because I just charge it overnight every 2-3 days. Being USB-C, it is just easy to charge overnight since I have a USB-C charger at my desk for my phone.Hot swap makes it easy to change switches so you can find the ones you like most. Barebones are great if you already know how you want to finish assembly but fully assembled is hardly more expensive so sometimes I just buy assembled and use the switches and caps for spare parts.Can't go wrong, give it a try. The V2 Max is also great if you don't use your F-Keys.

Wow! When I first received it I thought, I'll send this back. Luckily I gave it a try. It is fantastic. For anyone who hates the flat panel keyboards on laptops (mac's etc.) this is a heaven sent. It took me about 30 minutes to get used to typing on it but once I adjusted I found myself typing more accurately and faster than I could on my mac keybaord. It is very much like an old IBM Selectric Keyboard. I have mine wired directly to my mac. You can also use bluetooth. There is a switch to set it up for Mac and additional keys caps to adjust it to other configurations. One of the best things I've purchased for productivity in a long long time.

Honestly a surprisingly good cheap board. The accessories in the box, high quality cable, SUPER lightweight yet not a cheap feeling board by any means, the switches feel amazing. Smooth and buttery with a chime to them. No rattle. It's a properly built board no doubt. I have 500-1000 dollar boards and I can honestly say I would rather type on this. Many functions with the board was a nice feature. Keycaps aren't horrible. I think the font is a little goofy on some keys like Comic sans, even though it's not. But I probably wont replace them. It's an extremely nice board and I suggest buying it to try it. At this price point you can't go wrong. It's a LITTLE noisey with these switches but I'm not bottoming out and it's not LOUD by anymeans. Just a little noisey.

I tried several and this one was ultimately my second choice to the corsair keyboard. It's cheaper so still a great option if you need to save some money.

Review from a normal person non-keyboard enthusiast.TLDR: It's great, wish it had black keys, but worth it especially for mac users.I'm not a keyboard enthusiast. If you need a $200+ custom keyboard this review isn't aimed at you. I'm just needed a mechanical keyboard for a mac that was wireless. This hit it out of the park for my needs. It comes with mac keys which most other comparable keyboards do not. You don't get the windows specific keys if that's your need. The 2.4ghz is great and that's all i use. I get no lag when i come back to the computer which i got with my old anker bluetooth. I can't speak for lag with this bluetooth as i haven't used the bluetooth. It comes lubed. So much that you can see the lube when you remove the keys. You can see them in the pictures. It comes with red accent keys but that's not my thing so i removed them. I went with brown switches and they have nice sound in my opinion. It's not clicky and loud or anything but it's not silent. Price it's expensive. To a normal person $100 for a keyboard is pricey. But in context of the genre of higher end keyboard that go over $200 this is considered "affordable." In that sense it's worth the price. I don't regret paying the price. It is plastic but for me it's quite weighty. It does not feel cheap. If you have to have an all metal case this won't satisfy you. But for everyone else you'll be thrilled. Great battery. After two months and 25 days of every day use on 2.4 ghz wireless, rbg off, i still have 70% battery remaining! I also love that it comes with bluetooth and 2.4 ghz dongles and a magnetic place to store both on the board.My one and only issue is on two occasions my all caps key has gotten stuck. I fixed it simply by removing the brown switch and reseating the same switch. I'm not sure why that is. It's only happened twice. Hasn't happened in about 3 weeks. Could be a bad switch but even so the issue hasn't reoccured yet. The space bar sounds hollow so i did the tape mod on it as i saw on the internet. I must say it does sound "thockier" as they say. It's less hollow.It has VIA with i wanted as an option but out the box it's so good i haven't even tried via and no need to remap. The volume is awesome. You push to mute. I use it all the time. I turned off the rgb as i like a less flashy gamer look. But it's there and it works. I wish it came with black keys but. maybe i'll buy a set of replacement keys.I gave it 3 out of 5 stars for value cause its' good but it's not cheap. It's only cheap to enthusiasts. I gave it 5 stars overall cause for me it's the best choice in a 75% if you use a mac and want to keep it near $100.
