Dinosaurs Magic Painting Book: A Water Activity Featuring 16 Prehistoric Scenes for Kids (Ages 5-8)

This product blows minds and is so much fun. I work in pediatrics and my kiddos and parents love this dinosaur book and the mermaid book. I love painting in these books too. If you understand the concept of watercolor paint you can use your artistic side and dip into one color and transfer it to another area! (So, it is not mess free. It is also not hard to remove the color if it gets on hands or fabric. In my experience. ) I can see if you give a kid a book and water they might rush through the entire book, but in my experience in dealing with a wide range of children, I have noticed 1 page is enough. I am planning to buy the animal and rainbow books. I also have not had issues with the colors being anything but vibrant and the expected watercolor pigment they are. Thank you for this wonderful product! I don’t review regularly, but felt like others should know how awesome this product really is.

Love purchasing these as gifts something for kids to do is always great. I would also include a refillable water Brush (not included) with this gift for even more mess Free fun.

These magic painting books are a wonderful kid activity. I even enjoy them as an adult! We’ve had a few different versions and these are the best! They’re a nice mess free activity for restaurants and planes when you don’t want to make a mess in a public space.

I bought this to use with my preschool class during dinosaur week and it was a hit!! The kids loved the variety in the pictures. They all included lots of details- multiple dinos, plants, volcanos and more. They colors were also great, very vibrant. The kids kept saying “wow, this is magic.” I love that we only needed water and the clean-up was a breeze! As expected, the pages were kind of wrinkly when they dried, but that was not a big deal.

Artwork so pretty! Cannot wait to paint them. Getting two copies so i can do them all with my kids. Love how the papers are only one sided! I will probably remove the pages from the book before painting just to ensure no mistakes to the rest of the book.

The picture is of completed pages. There is a variety in the colors so not all greens alike, for example. Drawings are excellent. The paint is very well printed. My almost 5 year old grandson was very pleased with the one he did. I did the ones in the picture. Paint with water is more relaxing for me than coloring books because there are no decisions to make and no need to change the tool in your hand.

My daughter loves to paint with these books. Perfect for a restaurant, flight, car ride, you name it.. I’ve bought probably 5 books from this company and I’m always pleased with them.

Libro con ilustraciones de diferentes dinosaurios para colorear con agua, colocando una lámina que tiene para que no traspase entre páginas. Hay que colorear sin salir de cada parte del dibujo, para que no se mezclen los colores. Lo veo adecuado a partir de 7 años, ya que requiere precisión, los dibujos son elaborados. A mi sobrino le ha encantado e incluso iba perfeccionando la técnica e imaginando de qué color sería cada parte. Me parece caro, trae 16 dibujos, eso sí, le ha entusiasmado tanto que los terminará en un par de días, se merece las 5 estrellas. Si abres el plástico del pincel solo por arriba, podrás volver a guardarlo y llevar el cuento a donde quieras. Con pedir un vaso de agua, un buen rato de entretenimiento.

Wir als Eltern finden das Buch rundum gelungen. Die Motive sind gut aber die Details manchmal überladen. Was aber daher rührt, dass auf den schwarzen Stellen die Farbe aufgebracht ist, die sich dann mit Wasser ausbreitet. Es gibt auch andere "einfachere" Bücher für Kindern, welche zwar weniger Details haben aber dort ist eben auch die Farbe nicht so kräftig. Unser Kleiner (5J) interessiert sich sehr für Dinos, malt aber nicht sonderlich oft. Bei dem Buch war er voll konzentriert und hat die Flächen sorgsam mit einem Pinsel und Wasser bemalt. Die Farben erschienen dabei wie von Zauberhand, was ihn ganz offensichtlich sehr faszinierte. Auch wenn es "nur" ausmalen ist, so hat es für die kleinen doch einen gewissen Lern und Spaß Faktor. Ich würde das Buch jedem empfehlen mit Kindern von 4-8. Ich denke ältere Kinder finden es die ersten zwei Seiten interessant, wie die Farbe auf magischeweise entsteht aber mehr auch nicht. Wir haben davon auch gleich das Weihnachts-Motive Buch bestellt und sind gerade dabei für unseren Neffen noch eines als Geburtstagsgeschenk nachzubestellen. Wer einen Malmuffel daheim hat sollte unbedingt zugreifen. :)
