It states that the 12 mounting screws supplied are 3" long to ensure that they sink through any trim to studs, or in my case the log walls of my house. In fact, these self tapping screws are only 1 1/4" long, less than half what is claimed, and will barely reach past my door trim. They are also silver in color and so do not blend into the black color of the bar's holders.
