Works very well, the product is more efficient than plugin flash drive looking devices similar to the Bluetooth ones. The antennas make it easier to connect to the WiFi and even if the router itself is not directly in the next room, it manages to connect to the WiFi. The connection also is relatively strong, if your WiFi is normally slow then it will be slow, however, if your WiFi is fast it will noticeably be stronger than some other similar products. Worth the purchase and is price reasonably

Turns out it was a windows issue. You have to go to the device manager and under network adapters find the one listed as realtek then right click, select properties then go to the power management tab and uncheck the option that allows windows to turn off power. I didn't have a power management tab so I have to add a registry key Add PlatformAoAcOverride (0) to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power as a DWORD entry in regedit if you are comfortable editing your registry then reatart. This is 100% a windows issue and not the product.

It's own software is pre-loaded into the device, so installation is easy. Working well. Much better that the older wifi adapter built into my laptop. A bit cumbersome to work with, but not having my wifi connection dropped is worth it. After almost 11 months of use this product bit the dust. Trying to find out what warranty is available for me ... hope that one year is standard. If not, guess I'm out of luck. Just died. Is that normal for products of this type?

Used on two Win10 Pro machines. After booting to login screen on the newest PC, the adapter *always* loses the USB connection (blue LED goes off) and has to be unplugged and re-connected to restore WiFi connectivity. It works flawlessly on an older PC. A nearly identical clone performs identically - same chipset I suppose.

the version not listed in the ad. drivers on CD only. I haven't had a computer with CD or DVD disc's in over 10 years. Luckily I had olther systems to fet driver. only the 1.0 driver detected the adapter. the adapter works is my only positive comment.

per quanto successo a me su un portatile metto la mia esperienza a disposizione: del tutto casualmente mi sono accorto che la connessione si abbassa notevolmente , facendo credere che l'adattatore non funziona, se si stacca il cavo di alimentazione. per cui con portatile senza almentazione elettrica velocità 280 mbs, con alimentazione 650 mbs. spero di essere stato utile a qualcuno

Works good as expected. I use this to connect my desktop to my apartment network. Just plug and use, if you have windows. Haven't tested this with Linux. Depends on if one can get proper linux divers
