I don't count Vine Customer reviews as reviews because one's opinion of a product is going to be far more positive if they didn't have to pay for the item but still get to use it, so with no other written reviews about this case I was pretty hesitant. The primary reason I chose to get it is because it fulfilled some of the details below that other cases didn't, and I looked at the brand's other products that have decent reviews from a variety of different customers that are real. PURPOSE I was looking for a case that does NOT have ventilation cutouts at the bottom, specifically because the way my laptop stands on my desk (using an external monitor) I didn't want the extra visual detail. I was also looking for a case to make my laptop darker to, again, reduce visual interest and let it blend in with the background more. This helps me focus and keeps my desk simple. As I'm very careful with my device I don't even care much for super durable cases. PRODUCT Surprisingly good! The plastic has a nice feel to it, there's almost a "softness" that makes it pleasant to hold. It also feels sturdy. It actually feels better than the laptop itself which I find funny. There's also 100% coverage of the laptop itself (except for ports of course) as promised, so corners are fully protected. Appearance is accurate as can be with online images. I got the darkest option available and my gray laptop now looks a very dark gray or slightly off-black. Great fit, super easy to snap on. I've been having so much trouble finding cases that actually fit snug to the laptop and stay that way--the Macbook is so slim it seems a lot of product designers for laptop cases are having trouble figuring out how to keep the case on without touching the screen and getting in the way, but this one does it really well! Laptop can also close perfectly all the way. The foot grips are a great touch. They have a texture at the bottom to increase friction so your laptop doesn't slide around. They aren't cheapie 5 cent grips. Usually no one even thinks about these. They give the impression that they'll be there for a long time and not fall out like most do. I'm not going to drop my laptop to put the product to an actual durability test, but should it happen by accident I'll come back and let you know the state of my device, or if the corners just start cracking all on their own through gentle use like some cases do. So far, I definitely recommend the case.

I have used this case for just over four months for my space black 16 inch M3 MBP. I had already tried another brand that wasn't very good quality, and this one cost twice as much as the others on Amazon (but still cheaper than name brands, and in my opinion, better quality!), but I'm so glad I took a chance and got this one! And I can promise you, I do not treat it delicately with kid gloves. I'm not overly hard on it, but I do take it out put it down, take it out, put it down all day long nearly every day of the week. so far there are absolutely no cracks, no scratches, and I cannot see any fingerprint smudges. I've even dropped it two or 3 feet a couple times. the only complaint I have is that the frosted black is a little too dark and I can only see through to the Apple logo if I have it under good lighting or at just the right angle, which is important to me so that I can quickly tell which side is the opening that needs to face me (with the cheaper case I had tried before, I was not able to see through at all under any light, unlike the listing page showed.) I also had a different brand of case for my 2019 Mac, which I am also using to compare, and it does have some cracks at the corners, and likes to come off if you don't grab it exactly right. The fit is exact and seamless, with no weak points where the ports are, so I'm not worried it will break off like my other one did. The weight on the MacBook lid is not so much that it pulls the lid down with gravity, which the case, yet another brand, on my 2012 MacBook Pro does. The bulk and weight it adds to the MacBook itself is negligible. in fact, when I was at a meeting last week, one of my colleagues told me they didn't even realize there was a case on my Mac because it is so formfitting and exact. I was very tempted to write a review earlier, but made myself wait so that I could give an accurate assessment after a handful of months. I hate when people people leave a review two days later on products where durability is a factor. Did I mention I love this case? Worth every penny! ps—I also love the keyboard cover. When I read about it, I thought "that's neat—if it works, great, if not, no biggie." It wasn't going to influence my decision about the case, but after using it—it's so form fitting (the only part of the keyboard that isn't covered is the touch button.) At least two times I thought I had lost it when I was distracted by the phone, and didn't realize I had actually set it down on the keyboard—it blends in that well. That's when I noticed I could tell if it's on or not by looking at the touch key. It's transparent enough to easily let the backlights show thru. It made this whole buying experience that much better and worth the price!

Absolutely perfect fit and looks great. It definitely adds protection all the way around the Macbook. Doesn't add any noticeable weight at all. The quality is durable and feels rugged to say the least. Nothing creaks or has any play at all.

Buyer beware--please see below. This case has a beautiful appearance with the colored, clear plastic. The low profile tabs, holding it in place to the computer, were a selling point to me as well. However, I regret to say that this case material cracks. It wasn't even 2 months of owning the case that the small tab on the bottom-right-front portion of the laptop cracked off, and then an entire crack split down to the air vent hole in the case shortly after. (See attached image) Note that during this time, my computer was almost exclusively sitting on my desk in clamshell mode--basically no force on the case and these problems manifested. Now, the case won't stay in place properly at this corner of my laptop. I was wondering if it was just me, if I had a fluke. But in the first weeks after my purchase, I recommended this case to a friend in for his new Macbook Air. Alas, the same cracking issue has come up on his case. I almost purchased another identical case because I otherwise like it so much, but I can't due to the apparent high probability of cracking. Sorry Soonjet--you have a great product with a fundamental flaw. I really wanted to love this case.

Over all very nice. Only issue is there were scratches on the case before I even used it.

This case fits my new macbook perfectly. It looks nice, and doesn't interfere with the ports. When you spend thousands on a new laptop, a few extra dollars to protect your investment is a no brainer. Couldn't be simpler to fit, simply align the macbook with the bottom half and it snaps in. Then press the top half of the case onto the computer, making sure its the right way around. Very pleased with this protective cover.
