I have been greatly enjoying boiled eggs cooked with this egg cooker. Can boil up to 6 eggs or poach up to 3 eggs. Comes with a measuring cup that has a needle at the base for puncturing eggs (make them cook faster). You need to use oil or similar on the tray for poached eggs so they don't stick to the tray. Cooks eggs in 3 min to 10 min depending on how runny you want the yolk. There is a loud alarm that sets off automatically when eggs are cooked. Sleek design. Cooks the perfect egg. Amazing value for money. Easy to use and comes with instruction booklet. Less water added = shorter timer & more runny egg.

I've been using this Philips egg boiler regularly, and it's made preparing eggs much more convenient. It takes the guesswork out of boiling eggs, and they come out consistently cooked to the desired level. It's compact, doesn't take up much space on the worktop, and is very straightforward to use. The included measuring cup and piercing pin are also useful touches. Cleaning is simple as long as you wipe the heating plate after use, and the transparent lid lets you check on the eggs while they're cooking. The buzzer is loud enough to hear from another room, so you know when the eggs are ready. The only feature I feel is missing is an automatic shut-off. Once the buzzer sounds, the appliance continues to heat until you switch it off yourself. An auto shut-off would make it a truly hands-free appliance and provide a little extra peace of mind if you're busy with other tasks. Overall, it's a well-made, dependable kitchen gadget that saves time and consistently produces good results. Despite the lack of automatic shut-off, I'd still happily recommend it to anyone who regularly boils eggs

This is my second attempt at an egg cooker with the first being unreliable so I went with a brand I knew. Works great, simple on/off switch and beeps when finished. It beeps when the water has ran out, that's why it's important to use the cup provided to put the right amount of water for your wanted egg type and readiness. Bargain for the money, simple to use, small enough to tuck away in a cupboard and looks pretty good if on the side.

So these egg boilers are simple in principle, you add a bit of water, an egg and turn it on (one setting). However with this, it’s hard to figure out how much water to add… the indication on the small jug is not true. Seem to need less water the kore what you add, not true. Further it takes much longer for eggs to be ready. Other non branded products we’ve had made perfect eggs every time with less time.

Third and best egg cooker.

Perfect small egg cooker, hard to get the water amount right for the perfect consistency but hardboiled is easier than poached. As long as you put oil with the poached egg its easy to clean although the tray if you have hard water then it leaves a lot of residue on the bottom which is a pain to clean as you can get it the whole thing wet so you sort of have to wipe it but its not the end of the world.
