I've had these since May 2024 and I keep finding myself coming back to them. I have a pair of JBL Tour Pro 1 earbuds, Galaxy Buds 3 pro, JBL 660nc over ear headphones, and I've used the prior 2 generations of galaxy buds as well but these land on my ears every time I'm active. Walking, running, kayaking, biking, working on the cars or even just running errands. I prefer them because there isn't a rubber earpiece so you dont get that weird thumpy booming noise as you're walking around like with all other ear buds. They also dont squeeze your head like other bone conduction headphones and the rear strap it's included with has never been necessary for me. Since they aren't clogging your ears you can still hear everything going on clearly around you and the tap functions are easy to use because the tap surface is larger than most earbuds. No, it doesn't have noise canceling. No I don't think it has adaptive microphones to filter out background noise during calls. No the bass isn't the greatest at max volume but thise are my only complaints. So, they absolutely deserve 5 stars because they're just, easy. Their sound quality is still good enough by all comparisons, call connectionnand battery life are great, I charge them maybe once a week with daily use. They're comfortable, they dont fall off, and I use them at some point during every single day despite having "better" headphones and ear buds. I only use anything else if I'm wanting for more bass or trying to tune people out which is rarer than when I want to be present and have music / phone calls available at the same time. Would recommend to anybody whose interested in bone conduction headphones especially. And also recommended for active users because there's none of the weird feedback from ear buds like wind whipping noises and the boomy sound on footsteps

I’m not some audiophile but I know when something sounds good to me and I have to say these have great sound quality. Where I work I can not use noise canceling and need to be aware of people trying to call out to me. It’s nice being able to press pause and just have a quick convo since these are over ear and don’t impact your hearing. They are also very comfortable and fit nicely over the ear. Easy to adjust too! The battery life in these is probably above average and I feel it beats my ear pods pro. The thing I like most is that you don’t have to sit there with something jammed inside or your ears. The in-ear type really bothered my ears and made things funky. These over ears offer great audio quality without having to make my ears suffer with something stuck inside of them. The app is pretty cool l, though I admittedly don’t use the equalizer. Another favorite feature of mine is I can have it paired to my lap too through blue tooth on my phone. So once I’m done listening to a podcast I can switch back to the phone seamlessly and listen to Apple Music. I also like the call quality when I’m in teams meetings when connected to my laptop. The people in the MS Teams meetings with me say they can hear me loud and clear so the microphones on these are also a great feature. The case is nice and the charging speed when in the case is nice. So far it’s a great quality product without really breaking the bank. I highly recommend these head phones. One last thing, the “behind the head” clip that connects to both ear pieces is kind of on the small side. I wasn’t going to use it but for those of us that have larger head sizes, it may bit fit.

I’m 64 year old male rock / metal music lover. I’ve used JBL products for years. These open ear headphones are great! Got them on Mar 18,2026 set um up already had the app. Used them while working on my deck replacing deck boards. Wore them 4 hours straight answered 2 phone calls sound quality is great, comfort awesome no issues putting on and taking off my glasses with headphones on. Just be aware load noises drown out the sound saws, lawn mowers etc. since not in the ear product.

I got these bc l wanted to try the "out of the ear" version of ear phones. I have been using the "in the ear" Beats for some time and l recently got an ear infection, so l gave these a try. SOUND, they sound great, just as good as the beats considering that they're not in the ear. If you use them in a noisy environment, that will affect the sound quality a little. When on a phone call, the sound quality is incredible for the person you're talking to. So lve been told. COMFORT, they're not that bad, but not as comfortable as the Beats. I first tried wearing them with the included around the neck band and it was bothering behind my ear a little. Then l tried without the band and it was a little less bothering. I usually wear them between 4 to 6 hrs daily. BATTERY, they last exactly 6 hrs continuous usage. They do charge faster though and if you place them back in the case for 15 mins, you get 4 more hrs. My Beats last 1 to 2 hrs longer. Overall, l like them. If l would have loved them, they would have gotten 5 stars from me. I wish they would last longer, at least 8 hrs and be more comfortable behind the ear. Other than that, they're pretty good.

Amazing sound quality. Takes sometime to get used to, depending on your ear shape, as it can feel loose. Really impressed by the battery life. If you use it for taking calls, be it on the phone or on computer meetings you won't be disappointed.

So far, I’ve tried the Shokz Openfit, Openfit Air, 1MORE s50 and soundcore v30i. These JBLs are the best of the lot in terms of fit, on par with the s50, and the best in terms of sound quality, on par with the Openfits. The swivel design allows you to properly secure the drivers in place and angle it just right in order to produce the best sound quality. They have a lot of bass for an open ear design though obviously not as much as a sealed pair of earbuds. I’m still hesitating between keeping these or the s50. The s50 are a lot less bulky and are more secure thanks to their eartips but they sound less full, even after EQing. The mic quality is also a bit better on the s50.

Wonderful JBL - High quality sound and music without blocking out ambient sounds or conversations. I've had a great experience with all of JBL speakers that I have bought over the last 24 years. I purchased a couple of other manufactures open ear buds and sound quality was ok but i found the fit was very uncomfortable and a bit painful.
