I tried countless times to align it, but the handle would never push the piston face into the tube. Instead it always started to bend the frame and looked like it would break apart (being plastic). I could take the piston out of the tool and push it into the cartridge (with some twisting action) by hand, but the tool would never do that. Otherwise, it all went together just fine. Standard ChipQuik 15 gm cartridge.
