We garden and needed to build a few trellises for our climbing produce and this thing did the trick. It’s for some weight to it which is good because if you know basic physics, nothing without weight ever produced friction to drive something into an inert space without force which is produced by weight and energy. We have solid Texas soil which is basically organic concrete and this driver arose to the occasion and worked through the soil (my boyfriend’s biceps helped, too). It took a few dings to the top which I honestly think would be normal because of the force used to drive it but it’s definitely durable and easy enough for anybody to use it. I’d say use gloves that have a grip to them or cushion because you can feel the vibration once it hits the top of the post, but it’s not so bad that gloves are a must.
