Sturdy and easily stored
We needed to inflate an exercise ball and we also have some regular football/basketball needs so this was the perfect combo. Solid brass. Strong. No moving parts and fits perfectly into our bicycle tire pump.

design flaw
On the threaded part of the needle there is a 1/16 inch band of metal without threads. Because of this I was unable to crew the needle into my pump. The needle went into the ball, fine, but because the needle can't be threaded into the pump it was useless.

The threads on the bicycle nipple are not done correctly.Be careful
The threads on the bicycle inflator are not complete and the product doesn't work. It wasn't worth returning buyer beware.

Doesn't fit where normal ball pin needles do. Not made of solid brass
This is ever so slightly larger than the normal standard. Neither piece/nozzle/needle fits because they are both too big. I mostly wanted the ball pin needle. The ball pin needle has a unthreaded section at the end and I foolishly thought if I could just cut that off, it might fit where a normal needle/nozzle does. After some careful cutting and sanding (which revealed that the nozzle is not made from solid brass) I found that it still didn't fit even without the unthreaded end. Only then did I realize that the other piece/nozzle also did not properly fit. They are both a little too big/wide. Maybe it is some standard I don't know about, but I ended just putting my other, original ball pin needle back on the end of my air hose.
