There is nothing on the bottle saying it must be refrigerated after opening. It simply says to store it in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.

Taste is similar to soy sauce but with MUCH less sodium. The bottle is larger than I had anticipated and the packaging for mailing was excellent.

This had very good flavor, but the cap is poorly designed, it sort of holds excess sauce in the cap so when it's poured it dribbles down the side of the bottle. VERY frustrating. Still, it is a great low sodium soy, and I would gladly buy again, but I'll swap out the cap for a different one (I keep spares in my kitchen drawer just for things like this).
