Dr recommended . Has “carb snart” which supposedly doesn’t spike your sugar levels. I think this is why it’s more expensive than other brands in this category. Taste is great. Hopefully helps with my anemia . I need more iron and nutrients!

Glucerna strawberry shake is great for controlling diabetes!
I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic a few months ago. Along with changing my diet, I've been using Glucerna shakes to control my blood sugar. So far it has worked just the way it is supposed to! And the flavors are so delicious!

This negative review is for the strawberry flavor.
I love the chocolate flavored glucerna, but the strawberry has an offputting, very strong artificial flavor that even mixing a single bottle into a half gallon of milk could hide. I haven't tasted the vanilla yet but I am happy that there is at least one flavor I enjoy.
