Adobe Creative Suite 5 ACA Certification Preparation: Featuring Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop

My Web Technology Tools instructor recommended this study guide as an optional text. He reasoned we were all eventually taking a certification test so a study guide would be a good investment. The book is easy-to-follow and well-written. The huge problem I have with this certification prep book is there are NO answers to the review questions. My instructor doesn't have the answers either. The data files are provided online, and that would be a good place to PUT THE ANSWER KEY.

This text is written to the point with clear screen shots, and has accompanying files to practice on. The questions at the end of each chapter help prepare for ACA certification.I do wish this text would be updated for Adobe CC. The author has organized this text perfectly, and I believe she'd do the same with Adobe CC.

good book

This is packed with good information. The book arrived on time. Great addition to my graphic design and media library.

I taught multimedia in high school and this is the only book I was able to find to help my students prep for the ACA exams. There aren't many books tailored for prepping for the ACA exam--most books just teach you how to use the software. The exam covers topics such as audience needs and usability in addition to knowing how to use the software. My high school students found it a bit dry and boring, but they find everything dry and boring if they can't learn something immediately. As an instructor I thought it was covered all the necessary material and did a good job of explaining everything.My only complaint is that it doesn't include the Premiere ACA prep yet, but I imagine that's because the test wasn't available yet. I hope the new edition includes it, too!
