It tells time very well, down to the second (once you set it), and it's very sturdy. He's worn it in the pool more than 10 times and so far it's been perfectly fine. I took off one star because the programming is a little confusing. It's also kind of difficult to figure out how to turn off the alarm setting (I still haven't figured out how to make it stop randomly beeping on what I think is the hour, but I'm not sure..?!).
