This is great for my anxious 93 year old granny who broke her hip and had surgery. This keeps her legs in the exact position doctor recommened to accelerate healing. Great quality, soft and gentle material for the skin. My grandma is way more comfortable now and this helped greatly to reduce her pain.

The online description is exactly what I got! (How often does THAT happen?) I just had surgery; I was concerned because I am not supposed to cross my legs. I do that automatically without any thought. The simple & comfortable design work perfectly, without me feeling constrained.

Huge for very large people no where the same type of medical type. Couldn’t use. So frustrating

Had to have for sleeping after hip replacement surgery because I repeatedly and reflexively cross my ankles when lying prone or sleeping, and that’s a big post-surgery no-no. This helped me the first week, but it’s a pain in the tush when one has to try to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night so I found myself using it less and less. (It’s helpful to have a short “grabber” device if you don’t have someone in the same room who can undo the belts for you and then refasten them.) Still, pain to use or not, I needed it. I can see where it might be useful for some of my PT, too. I do think it’s overpriced by $10-15 as it seems medical supplies often are, but I also acknowledge it’s made well.

My in-home OT recommended this item. When it finally arrived, my Caregiver tried placing it on my leg, too stiff, non flexible at all for an older female paraplegic!

I recently had an excision & reposition surgery of my femur/ acetabulum. I purchased this as a preventative post surgery so I wouldn’t move in bed & mess my surgery healing up. While I hate laying on my back , it definitely did a good performance. It is comfortable, not scratchy, good durability, it’s light weight. I highly recommend.

I ordered this product hoping it would aid me to sleep on my side safely after hip-replacement surgery. Unfortunately, after testing it pre-surgery, I'll be returning it and relying instead on a pillow between my legs. I have much shorter legs and a narrower pelvis than most people, so the spacing effect was uncomfortable for me. I gave the product three stars because it arrived on time and in good condition and the idea is an excellent one. The size may work for many people, just not for me.

I bought this product for my mom. She fell and fractured her hip, and when she fell asleep, she would cross her good leg over the broken one. The first day I used it on her, she fell asleep, and when she woke up, she screamed terribly because it caused her a terrible shock when she saw herself tied up with this product.
