Review: It was hard to assemble but look at the price - Not gonna lie, this took me hours to complete and gave me a couple of hand blisters. I am pretty experienced putting together furniture, which I am sure makes a difference to whether one will have a successful end result. The reason I am giving 5 stars is the outcome was worth it. This is a nice chest of drawers made of mostly solid wood that if you were to get pre-assembled, would probably cost twice as much. What I am saying is, the difficult assembly was worth it to me. It looks sharp, the drawers all fit correctly and operate correctly, and it sits flush and stable on my floor. There were some hiccups along the way. Some of the instructions aren't clear, and required figuring out by carefully inspecting and seeing how things should go together. On one step (screwing the top rail to the very top of the dresser) the provided screws were not long enough. I had to use some of my own screws. There was a chip of wood missing from the backside of the top piece, but it's where you can't see it after assembly. One of the knobs won't tighten all the way. But, the total defects were minor, and I was impressed how precise everything fit together especially having often dealt with poorly drilled ready-to-assemble furniture in the past. I assembled the whole thing by myself, a middle aged woman with decent physical fitness. You need strong hands and attention to detail, and expect to work up a sweat. Some pieces are heavy and require sustained effort to keep in place while you work. One of the hardest parts was getting the long bolts into the feet of the chest. You need a good amount of carpeted space to work on, at least 6' x x 6'. Plan for at least 2 or 3 hours, and you may want to take several breaks between certain taxing steps. Read every part of every page very carefully lest you miss an important detail. You need to already have a philips head screwdriver and I recommend a hammer as well to tap in the dowels. A big trash bag is also helpful as unpacking everything is its own chore. I also brought in a battery powered lantern to help illuminate the areas I was working on. I think this is an underrated piece of furniture as it is a great value, so if you are up to a fairly complex assembly task, you will be getting a good deal. Review: ? Well made pine dresser.
As a lifelong furniture designer and maker, I bought this piece because i wanted something of solid wood at a reasonable price. This Brazilian made dresser did not disappoint. I knew what to expect with pine, but I did not expect to see such clear pine (no knots!) with a fine, evenly colored finish. Assembly was straightforward. I did have, however, some issues with some of the parts. The drawer slides would be better if made of hardwood such as maple, which would have improved the slid ability of the drawers. However, waxing the sides and grooves improved the drawer function considerably to the point that they can be opened by pulling on only one of the knobs. I did have the ability and tooling to make a few hacks that improved its appearance and functionality. The drawers had excessive side to side play due to the gap between the drawer slides and the groove in the drawer sides (design flaw). An easy fix was to place fender washers behind all of the drawer slides which eliminated excessive side to side play (see photo). I also improved the opening distance of the drawers by drilling news stop-dowel holes farther back in the drawers (also a photo). Another hack was decreasing the excessive front protrusion of the bottom by cutting off 1/2" at the back before applying it (photo). Overall, I am pleased with the piece with its simple clean design and drawer capacity. I will probably purchase another.

Not a forever piece but it looks good, is decent quality, and functional.
I feel slightly obligated to share a photo and do a review because I know how important those are to me... ESPECIALLY when shopping for furniture on Amazon. I'm giving the dresser 4 out of 5 stars because it’s a very good piece, but nothing exceptional. It met my expectations for the ~$250 price point without exceeding them. The design is simple and clean, which is exactly why I chose it. *Most of it* (all of what's visible on the outside) is real wood and, unlike many dressers in this range (and even pricier ones), it doesn’t have that cheap or plastic-like look. That said, it’s not especially heavy, the drawer bottoms are thin particleboard, and some components (like the runners) don’t seem built decade-long durability. For the price, though, isn't something like that to be expected? In a nutshell: I feel this works VERY well for an apartment, but if you buy it imagining some kind of heirloom piece in your forever home, then I think you would be disappointed. Now, as for assembly: I was dreading this part—I’ve messed up DIY furniture badly before—but I gave it a shot. Most seem to say they put this together in 2 or 2.5 hours. It took me more like 3.5–4 hours. Maybe because I used a manual screwdriver for the whole process? Putting this together isn’t complex rocket science; I just followed the instructions ***carefully*** and it came together fine. That said, it does require patience. The process is repetitive and can be tedious, especially with a manual screwdriver like I used. The instructions recommend avoiding a power drill, which makes sense since straight, flush alignment is very important for steps like installing the cam bolts. If you take your time and stay careful, most people should be able to assemble it without issues. Just be warned: I ended up with a couple of blisters from all the turning---just like someone else mentioned in their review, so you may want to wear gloves. I skipped the step of placing dowels into the holes inside to prevent the drawers from pulling out all the way. Many people complained that putting the dowels in there causes the drawers to only pull out halfway. I don't have kids in the house, so I am not worried about someone pulling the drawer out onto themselves. Without the dowel in, the drawers slide and move and pull out fine for me. I think that's about it. My conclusion is that this dresser is a decent value for the money, and aesthetically it does look pretty good.

Best made dresser i have ever owned
Best made dresser i have ever owned. Quite a lot to put together but. Good directions. The craftmanship is impeccable and every hole was perfectly drilled perfectly placed. The wood is beautiful the finish is perfect i could not be more impressed and just hope i can buy another one before someone realizes it should cost a whole lot more than it it does

Bottom of drawers is not wood
Almost all of the dresser is made with solid wood but the bottom of the drawers are particle board. I wanted something that was all solid wood since my kids are rough on things. I really hope that this lasts. Also, one of the knobs is loose and I tried to contact customer support to see about getting a new knob but never heard back.

Great construction.
We love this dresser, it’s well made. It takes awhile to put together though, which is expected. My only gripe are the plugs that keeps the drawers from coming all the way out. They could be better and allow the drawer to come further out.

Very difficult to Assemble and not worth the price
OVERLY PRICED, DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE AND NOT WORTH THE PRICE! Although it looks nice and sturdy, it was difficult to assemble. I wish I was able to put it together within the time frame of return from the date of my purchase. It is not sturdy when assembling. There base pieces did not stay secure or in place when shifting. it took too long to assemble and some of the pieces cracked when trying to secure the screws. There were splits that could not be repaired. Biggest waste of money and time.
