Very nice looking raised planters!
These are extremely well-made raised planters! Nice heavy duty steel, re-enforcement braces top and bottom in four locations. The powder coated paint will last for many, many years. When assembled, they are very sturdy! It took me about three hours to put each one together. I will not lie to you, it is very tedious work with a lot of bending, kneeling, and crouching to get the unit assembled with 112 bolts and wing nuts each. The actual assembly itself is very simple and straight forward. My wife and I are in our 60's and we needed an option that brings the plants higher up so we do not have to do so much bending and kneeling. These planters will do that for us and as you can see... they are absolutely beautiful! As hard as this was (for me) to do, We are going to order another one in a different size for another area we plant vegetables. The only concern I have with these are the four corners where they attach to end and first side panel on each side. There are gaps where every line of corrugation occurs. Since these gaps are on the inside as well, it is possible that the potting soil could wash out of them when there are heavy rains. I will need to figure out a way to seal these corners, but other than that, no other concerns and I highly recommend these.

A robust and versatile planter box with a few small things to consider
The Best Choice Products Outdoor Metal Raised Garden Bed was an excellent addition to my garden. Its 2ft growing depth, which can hold up to 119 gallons of soil, is ideal for medium to deep-rooting plants and vegetables like broccoli, beans, and more. This depth is a significant positive as it allows for a wide variety of plants to be grown. The open base drainage is another positive aspect. It promotes drainage to help prevent water and salt buildup while allowing your plants' roots easy access to nutrients. This feature is crucial for maintaining the health of your plants and ensuring they thrive. (But also opens up the possibility of varmints burrowing into your plants) The tool-free assembly is a big plus. The beveled steel panels come together with a set of included wingnuts and bolts with rubber edging for added protection. This makes the setup process straightforward and hassle-free, even for those who aren't particularly handy. (It does take some time to assemble and is made easier by two people. It took me about a half hour to construct one) The planter box is built to last, made of powder-coated steel panels and complete with four ground stakes to secure your garden bed. This robust construction ensures that the planter box will withstand the elements and continue to serve your gardening needs for years to come. (It DOES NOT include or use support bars so if you overpack your planter bed like I did you will get some bowing. 1 out of my three has bowing because I overpacked it, see photos) Best Choice Products Outdoor Metal Raised Garden Bed are a great choice for both experienced horticulturists and beginning green thumbs. Its depth, open base drainage, and tool-free assembly are standout features. I would easily recommend these to someone who is looking for open-bottom raised garden beds.

Plastic film on panels + assembly suggestions
Like a lot of products today even the refrigerator we bought recently had a plastic film all over the stainless steel that had to be removed. This product has a plastic film on both sides of every panel I contacted Best choice products about the film not being mentioned in the directions.. I was informed to leave the plastic on there to protect the metal. Eventually, this plastic film will start to peel, etc., on the outside and look like crap Then there is the concern that the plastic film will eventually break down on the inside where the dirt is and end up inside the dirt where you’re trying to grow plants. Who knows if the plants would suck up through their roots the plastic toxins. The answer should be yes remove all plastic on both sides of each panel Overall, it seems like a nice product and better than the other raised gardens I bought in the past. I would like to give it five stars, but I shouldn’t because of the plastic film. At the very least, they should have their directions state to remove all plastic film. Update—>. Due to another reviewers comments, I put a chain across the middle To make sure it never bows or swells in the middle. Also, due to a review from a different manufacturer raised garden. I built a year ago I filled the big hole ribs at the corners with a food grade silicone Supposedly once it dries, there’s no toxins whatsoever Friday night Left the last rib hole open at the bottom For drainage at the bottom I filled the rib holes from the inside, so it’s not visible from the outside with silicon dripping out. The reason I did this is because a lady from a different manufacturer, Metal raised garden that I built last year commented that anytime she watered her raised garden bed so much of the water would just escape at the corners and the dirt would not fully get moist The silicone worked wonderfully with the other ones I built last year I’m really happy how the top edges are hemmed and not really sharp. Definitely a sign of a better quality metal raised garden I switched my review to a four star after some thought. It’s definitely a really good product After doing all nuts and wing nuts just finger snug Then I came through with a drill To make the bolts tighter It definitely snugged up Use the Phillips head bits that are a little bit bigger/wider at the tip. Otherwise, screwheads will strip out easily Doing this Definitely tightened up the Raised garden beds much more, making it more rigid But, did the chain anyway
