this works great. i have it on both my RS4 PRO and my RS3 Mini. i did have to slight modify the one that goes on the mini since the base handle is thicker than the 4 pro. but these are made of soft aluminum and arent had to do with a file and a little pressure

I was looking for a way to carry extra power, both 7.4v and 12v, on my gimbal without the need to place it where its weight would affect the balance or reduce the payload. The solution to that conundrum arrived in the form of the Neewer GA011 Battery Handle Base. What’s both interesting and disconcerting is that Neewer, other than alluding to it in the product name, doesn’t offer much insight into how to use the GA011 accessory to attach a battery to the gimbal, that in my case is a DJI RS4. In any case, the Battery Handle Base is only one piece in the puzzle necessary to attach a battery, for whatever reason, to a DJI Gimbal. If it works on other brands, I don’t know. In my case, I wanted to be able to supply 7.4v power to my camera and 12v power to a focus motor. To do that, I used a Neewer NP-F Battery Adapter Plate, model PS004E, that will output both of those voltages. I then attached that to a Neewer Mini V Mount GA012, that has a detachable “V” plate. The removable “V” plate is attached to the NP-F adapter using the 1/4” screw provided with the NP-F battery adapter. The Mini V Mount GA012 has a cold shoe on an adjustable, locking rail, that fits into the cold shoe mount on the Battery Handle Base, with the Mini V Mount GA012 between the NP-F battery adapter and the Battery Handle Base. You get that? The fact is, there may be other ways to use this Battery Handle Base to attach a battery to a gimble, but don’t expect any help with that riddle from Neewer. I suppose I should be grateful they even mention the word “Battery” in the description. If you’re only going to use NP-F batteries you don’t need the Mini V Plate adapter. If you only use V Mount batteries, you don’t need the NP-F adapter. If you use both, like I do, and want to switch between V Mount and NP-F batteries, the Mini V Mount adapter allows you do so quickly and conveniently. To be clear, the Mini V Mount Adapter has a cold shoe that attaches to the cold shoe mount of the piece being reviewed here, the Battery Handle Base, that then allows you to attach a V Mount Battery or an NP-F adapter, directly to it. The Battery Handle Base is solid, and well made as is typical of Neewer products. It attaches directly to Arca style Clamps, for example a tripod head, which is useful. I also attach a shoulder strap to it via its QR adapter. It attaches to the bottom of a gimbal with the supplied 1/4" screw. An appropriate wrench is also included.

I have a competing brands weight reducing strap that had a similar base for the RS 2/3 gimbal. This base beats it in almost every function. Whereas the other does have more QD attachment points, in reality one in the center like this one has is sufficient. I love they went the extra step in adding an arca Swiss cut out and the additional left/right arri style nato rails with 1/4-20 holes is awesome. The front arri 1/4-20 is another bonus. The cold shoe on the bottom likely will never be used by anything but its there if you need it. All around a much better thought out option compared to alternatives and for the same money.

This is actually my 2nd Neewer battery handle base. I use it for my spare battery so both batteries stay ready. It uses a 1/4 screw to mount the bottom of the battery and has an additional 1/4 screw hole beneath it to support the gimbal tripod legs. This base can be mounted to my travel tripods and monopod in a flash. It can also be quickly attached to my Neewer shoulder strap with a simple click. This accessory is a must have 10 out of 10 highly recommended.

They claimed their product fit but did not. They give misleading information but I made it fit to my application as shown on the picture I provided. Milled the inside to fit the DJI RS3 mini gimbal handle.

This battery base plate from Neewer adds additional mounting points to the DJI RS3 series gimbals. Such mounting points are useful if you want to add small lights, handles, straps, etc. to the bottom of the battery handle. This base has side walls to prevent it from rotating, so it stays secure even after adding a tripod to the bottom. Overall I find the base compact and useful enough that it stays on my RS3 at all times.

As the Headline states: Built Solid Works Incredibly Well This works perfectly on a RS3 Pro. I'm a huge fan of Arca-Swiss attachments and Neewer has been upping their game with more solid pro tools coming out. I've been using the Neewer Battery Handle Base to attach the RS3 Pro to the top of a tripod during video breaks. It's quick and easy to attach and remove the RS3 Pro. I don't have to awkwardly find a spot to lay down the rig. Workmanship and build quality is excellent!

Nice low profile base that allows me to use the quick release on my tripod without any additional accessories. Super easy to install and use. Made with solid metal material, it gives me assurance that my expensive equipment will be safe from falling or breaking off of the tripod.

底がアルカスイス互換プレート一体になっていて三脚に付ける事が簡単にできます。 またQDホールがあるのでストラップの脱着も簡単にできる優れ物です。 以前はQDが使えるSmallrigの似た商品を使ってストラップを装着していましたがアルカスイス互換プレート一体ではないのでこちらの方が断然良いです。 暫くRS4で使っていましたがRS3miniでも使えそうなので追加購入しました。 この商品は幅33.5mm以上のハンドルは入りません。 RS3miniはハンドル幅34.5mmなので左右にあるNATOレールの内側を0.5mmずつ削って試してみました。 結果、RS4もRS3miniも1/4穴の位置はほぼ同じなので後ろの爪に干渉する事無くピッタリ装着できました。
