It's a worker!
Tried these in two different saws. They lookd promising - since I have a number of other Japanese style manual blades both for cured lumber and Greenwood. First I tried a beast of a Milwaukee sawzall which although it's an handful promised plenty of amps & the blade cut nicely thru 4" of a difficult access green ash that was threatening a power line. The next try was in a newer Ryobi lithium battery powered sawzall that's smaller and much lighter. Used this motor to access several live and dead choke cherries infringing on a juniper bush. Again the blade cut well and didn't whip, demonstrating sturdiness as well as cutting ability even with a lower amp motor. Thumbs up all around.

I never liked chain saws .....
These are great. I never liked chain saws and now I can cut branches and small trees. You will want to buy more batteries as this is fun.

An Unusual Solution to A Difficult Problem!
Never plant oak trees close to sidewalks, driveways or pavers! We bought a home that was surrounded by mature oak trees that provided a shady and somewhat isolating effect in an older development. Hard to find on a corner lot. But those mature oaks came with two major problems. While they provide shade and a cozy atmosphere, they also framed the 20 year old house well, creating barriers to noise, nosey neighbors and neighborhood traffic. The problems that came with these oak trees is that it starts raining oak leaves in October and doesn't stop until March, just in time for our Magnolias to start dropping their leaves. So if you don't want to rake your yard 6-7 months of the year, don't make the same mistake that we did. Mature trees also filter sunlight and make it more difficult to establish a bright and healthy landscape. If that's important to you, study up on it or hire a qualifed expert to do it for you. Plants are mostly finicky and expensive. Taking proper care of them can be really difficult. The second problem with mature oaks are the large and intrusive root system that each one has. It may not be obvious at first, but when your driveway starts to buckle, your sidewalks begin to crack and your pavers start popping up, you'll realize that you have a big problem. The easiest ones to push up are the individual pavers, resulting in an uneven surface for walking or biking. The solution is to cut the offending roots where they enter the paved area. I found out that the standard way of handling this is to have someone dig around these large roots and then use a (powerful) chainsaw to cut them into sections and pry them out of the ground. The problems with this method are two-fold: these roots are as hard as rock and a chainsaw is dangerous to work with. I'll never forget the lumberjack my Father and I rescued who was bleeding out from a chainsaw accident. (I'll be that he never forgot us either.) Chainsaws also have wider cuts and bind up easily with the dirt that surrounds the roots. So they don't last long before seizing or breaking. Enter my old friend the sawzall! I used cordless sawzalls when living in Southwest Florida to trim mangrove trees and Brazilian Peppers. in the wetland areas. Easy to handle, thin and sharp blades, and they don't jam up nearly as often as chainsaws. When you combine them with these EZARC Japanese blades, the work becomes easier, faster and safer. The thin blades (which hold their sharpened teeth well) will make your cuts deeper and quicker without binding up. This takes the difficulty out of removing those danged roots. Try it, you'll like it.

Great tree limb blades, not good on big fir tree roots.
Purchased these blades with the primary purpose of cutting fir root of a tree I had recently taken down. The smaller roots does a great job. The main big root not so good as the stored energy in the root becomes hard like glass from the friction heat. It's a work in progress to remove the fir tree root. I found it's a great blade for tree limbs, not the fir root.

Very sharp
Great value, extremely sharp and a lot of bite. Used one of the three blades to cut half of a maple tree completely up and it’s still sharp. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend it for inexperienced users because like I said it has alot of bite but cuts great. Would definitely buy again

Gets the job done
I needed to cut back some oleander trees and was thinking of buying a small chainsaw to get the job done. Then I remembered my reciprocating saw. I'm glad I found these blades as they made very quick work of the job and they were a lot cheaper than a chainsaw!

Amazing blades!
Had a medium size stump that I wanted to take down just below the ground line. These blades did a fantastic job of getting this done!

Awesome blade
I was skeptical but these bad boys are sharp and do the work. Mostly used to trim branched off dogwood 1-3 inches, made easy work of them. I also decided to go for gold and cut down a tree with about a 7 inch trunk and it got it done (chainsaw wouldve been easier of course). But I don’t have one.

Sehr scharf, für mich eine hervorragende Qualität für den Baumschnitt. Ich mag die gebogene Form beim Schneiden von Ästen. Durch die Schärfe wird der Akku meiner Säge geschont.

Absolutely brilliant blades that sliced through branches of an apple tree like butter. Didn't realise that the quality of the blades mattered that much as much as the quality of the recip saw! The most difficult wood to cut is green wood off a live tree and these are the real 'McCoy'! The curved shape seems to help in speeding up the cut as well as accessing specific branches, when they're all bunched up close together. Other blades seemed to get jammed with sap, green wood strands and would have to be removed, wiped clean, the open cut on the branch be widened by pulling down on the branch, before the blade could resume cutting. These have no such issue. I didn't have to yank the blade and the recip saw along the vertical axis to 'un-jam' it, nor did I have any issues of sap filling and jamming the teeth. Even after cutting roughly 50 branches of various widths, the blade is as sharp as when 1st used! Remember to clean the blades after each usage and remove all sap (with an appropriate chemical cleaner) and store dry. A bit on the expensive side but in my opinion, worth every penny. Highly recommended for green wood!
