100 percent recommend for long audio sessions!
Whether it is in the car, office, or at home, if you use a 3.5mm dongle for audio these days, the struggle of running on battery because the ONE usb C port on your device is occupied by a dongle is infuriating. Magnetic charging is kind of a solution, but I like to avoid it when I can due to battery heating issues on some phones with cases. This device makes all of that go away. The DAC on this is not going to set the world on fire. It will drive most IEMs or car stereo systems. Don't expect audiophile grade audio here, but the value for money and the lifesaving feature of being able to wired charge and listen to music is amazing. There is no noticeable noise I can hear from the power cord even on sensitive IEMs, and that's what sets this device apart from other cheaper options. Good build quality that doesn't get hot while charging. 100 percent recommend if you're in the market for this type of dongle.

It's worth it
Disclaimer: I know my screen is damaged, don't judge it please, it's a failure form my Google Pixel 8🥺 So, I gotta say I'm impressed, it really has fast charge, on my pixel 8 worked perfectly, the audio is good quality, I tried it while charging at the same time, there wasn't any kind of noise while using headphones during a call. So you can charge your phone and call at the same time without problem. Now when it's charging the USBC port gets hot, my charger is 30w, if your charger is above that it might get even hotter, just guessing. Now my favorite part, it's magnetic, the ports for USBC and 3.5mm can stay together with the magnet they have, which I didn't know (check the video). Overall I recommend this item, especially if you prefer 3.5mm headphones like me. In addition the shipping to Colombia was really fast, it took 1 week, have in mind I live in a far away town, so it's a plus the shipping

Briefly worked, then developed problems
Updated review: I gently used the adapter only four times. The first three times, it worked perfectly. The fourth time, however, it began malfunctioning. When I tried to listen to music and charge the device at the same time, a loud high-pitched squealing noise was added to the audio. When I removed the charging cable from the adapter, the noise went away and the audio was perfect. But as soon as I reattached the charging cable, the noise returned. I completed all the usual troubleshooting steps, including: trying a different 3.5 mm audio cable, trying a different USB-C charging cable, trying a different USB charger, rebooting the device, checking to make sure all of the connectors are clean and free of contaminants or debris, and using a different device entirely. Despite completing those troubleshooting steps, the problem persists. To UGREEN’s credit, I contacted them and they issued a refund. I appreciate their customer service. Nevertheless, I cannot recommend this adapter based on my experience with it. I have had good experiences with other UGREEN products, though. Original review: So far so good: seems to work fine with iPhone 15 and iPad 10th generation. Not sure if the audio quality is as good as the genuine Apple headphone adapter, but it’s good enough for casual listening. Charging works as it should. Build quality seems OK, but I can’t find any information about a warranty, which is usually a red flag as far as product longevity is concerned.

Good adapter
Good adapter when needing to both charge and have a wired headset. Durability has held up. My only complaint is that sometimes when i leave the adapter plugged in for an extended period of time I have to sometimes disconnect and reconnect for the headphone jack to work. Otherwise it works great and have no other issue with it .

Sounds great!
Alright, gotta come back and redo my review. I believe I was mistaken, though I haven't been able to test this in other vehicles. The sound cutting in and out 3-4 times during the first minute and occasionally (rarely) after is most likely due to the phone and/or car "fighting" to decide whether to use USB-C to Aux or Bluetooth. I don't think it has anything to do with the adapter itself. With that said, I don't have any issues with the adapter. The sound quality is perfect. Not only is the quality better than Bluetooth, it will allow you to play uncompressed, lossless audio. With Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal, etc., supporting lossless audio at a minimum of 24-bit/44.1kHz FLAC, it's one of the best ways to get what you pay for. It makes a very noticeable difference. It's also great that it has the charging port with it. The magnetic dongles are also a nice addition that helps with cable management. I've used this daily for months and the USB-C connection hasn't had any issues and still fits and holds like when it was new.

The fact that phones don't come with a proper audio jack these days should be treated as a crime. It used to be so easy; you kept a little pouch with your earbuds in, and when you wanted to listen on the train / wherever, you popped them out, they unwound, you plugged them in, and you were listening. There was no need for charging up (possibly explosive, it seems) earpods, and no need for USB adaptors to have to fish out and plug in first. Basically, by cheaping out on the design of the phones to reduce water ingress etc, phone manufacturers have made our experience worse and forced us into using substandard audio cables. So, like all people in my situation, I went and bought a USB to audio adaptor. Your phone has an expensive DAC to produce nice audio when listening to music / sound, but when you plug in USB headphones, there's no "audio out" that routes the sound from the onboard chip to the phones, like with a normal 3.5mm jack, there's no way to have a simple USB to Audio wire, the USB plug has to contain a full sound card. That's why the plug end that goes into the phone is so big. So, rather than using the gorgeous well-powered DAC you paid thousands for, you're now reduced to the 30-cent chinese mass-produced DAC that the adaptor manufacturer put in there. If they put an expensive one in, your adaptor cable would cost more than the headphones. The other problem is that the USB audio controller also has to manage things like the pause/play/fastforward buttons on speakerphones and clever headphones with inline controllers. This is just a feature to help people mute and adjust volume without needing to log into the phone every time. As you'll have seen, there are lots of cheap cables on here. It's a misconception to think that a USB to audio cable is "just an adaptor". It's not. Inside the USB plug is a mini-cpu doing DAC and ADC for speakerphones, as well as controlling HID devices (play/pause). And if the cable is a power splitter like this one, it's also got to manage all the USB power profiles... IS the phone being charged, or is it charging something else.. etc. Finally, if the USB is more than a charging port, the CPU has to act as a USB hub, managing the connectivity and power to four or more downstream devices. You think that spending £2.99 on a cheap cable with a £0.15 CPU is going to net you a device that's as good as your £1000 smart phone? Not even close. So, the net result is that the phone may not recognise the cheap USB audio device. It may not properly support all the standard functions of a USB audio profile, charging can be hit and miss (you get 'slow' charging, or the charging starts/stops all the time), or the audio can be a bit poor (cracking, popping, gaps in audio, muddy sound, distortions, inability to make out some higher-pitched details in music), or the control buttons misfire (phone swiping left/right, audio muting/unmuting randomly, music starting/stopping, tracks skipping). So, when you're getting one of these cables, just remember, you spend £1000 on your phone, and this cable is going to fundamentally replace one of the more noticeable parts of the phone, the audio subsystem. So don't just pick a cheap one. Go upmarket a little. That's why I went with these. I've bought MANY cables like this over the last few years. Some for laptops with malfunctioning audio cards, some for family, a few for me. They've all had their little quirks, except this one. The design is excellent: The cable shrouds are firm, so it's not going to break when I push/pull it in and out of the phone, the connectors click into place nicely, so you can tell when it's plugged in, even in the dark. The audio is pretty darn good. It wouldn't beat a proper sound card, but to my ears, it sounds as clear through this as through the phone's inbuilt speaker. Charging works perfectly, and the phone notices when it's attached to a proper USB-C charging port and can be charged at full rate. But the best bit, is the magnetic attraction between the two tails. It just keeps the whole thing neat, and (I've found) is a nice little fidget toy when you're idly listening to music / audio. Yes, it costs a little more than the other devices, but in this market you REALLY do get what you pay for. I hope that you understand a little more about what these cables are, and will appreciate that spending an extra few pounds can be very worth it.

Conclusion Après plusieurs semaines d’utilisation quotidienne depuis février 2025, cet adaptateur remplit parfaitement son rôle.
