When opening this item I was pleased with the quality and feel. It is all metal and looks elegant and well made. The magnetic ring seems very strong and is a big improvement on plastic mechanical grip car phone holders. I followed the instructions for installation and did more than it asked, as I cleaned my dashboard with the wipe supplied more that the 10 times advised and waited a good while until it was dry, then as per instructions held it in place longer than advised. I had the unit folded and left it over night (so longer than the 5 hours it suggested.) So now for the cons: Today I got to use it and because it has been a very hot day the metal got very hot to the touch. Which could be a problem if you need to adjust it. Now regarding the adjustment, the joints are very stiff and stays in place and I don't think they will move on their own. I was disappointed to find that this item does NOT have a 360 rotational base as advertised! I think maybe the manufacturers have taken away this feature in new models as a cost cut or failed mechanisms. You can rotate the phone on the magnetic ring itself so can be placed horizontal or vertical. I do like it but time will tell if it will stay in place. So 4 **** for a little misleading features...but build is good. *updated* this is exactly as described it does rotate and has stayed put from the first time I put it in my car! I really think this is the best... I was wrong and apologised for the misleading. Updated to 5*

This is a great product. For the simple purpose it provides, it is extremely sturdy and functional. It adjusts in only one plane, but that is easily workable as long as you position it correctly for your specific needs. I only purchased this to use as a mount around the home to keep surfaces tidy and keep electronics out of reach of animals and children to reduce accidents. The sticky pad is very sticky which waist supports the weight of the mount and phone combined. You also receive a spare sticky pad in the box. The magnet is extremely strong and holds my phone with ease. I am not saying your phone would survive a rally event on this mount if you used it on your dashboard, but I do believe it would fair very well. So good for the price that I bought another one.

Quality metal construction. Nice strong magnet, flexible joints and rotates well. HOWEVER the 3M glued surface failed for me, probably sun damage. I will look into another way to attach it to the dashboard.

Unused this to stick a phone mount to my indoor rower as the rower one was a bit unstable. So far it stands up to amfair bit of movement..sticks really well.

Easy to mount and firmly fixed. Initially of the ratchet arrangement was positive and locked the phone in position. Unfortunately after 3 months the ratchet system is not supporting the iPhone 16 in the required position and as such the dash keeps the phone at not quite the position required but I live with it. The overall quality of the project is well machined but unfortunately after 3 months use the phone support drops. I will try and seek a refund or a replacement.

Rock steady, looks good and highly adjustable. Couple of words of caution. It is stiff at first so be careful when adjusting.and you absolutely have to let the sticky pads go off for at least 5 hours before using. From once you do, it is rock solid. <Update> After a couple of days, it fell off my dashboard but a dab of superglue did the trick and it's not going anywhere.

If you follow the simple directions, cleaning the area thoroughly and giving it a minute to dry before sticking the holder in place and leave for 5 hours minimum to stick properly, this product is awesome, the magnet holds my iPhone 17 pro max in place with ease. Highly recommended 5 stars all the way

Es perfecto, de una calidad asombrosa. Realizadas las pruebas, a ver si aguantaba el móbil bien sujeto, tengo de decir que va de perlas. Lo probé en circulación Off Road con la carcasa del teléfono puesto, transitando por caminos de piedras y con desnivel y aguantó perfectamente (sin la carcasa del telefono no tenía dudas, se agarra perfectamente). El giro del soporte va muy bien, en un principio te parece que se vaya a arrancar, pues va muy duro, pero lo giras sin problemas. Eso si, antes de usarlo, y después de pegarlo, lo tuve 24 horas sin usarlo para que pegara bien. Buena compra, sólo falta saber si el imán tiene duración. Eso el tiempo lo dirá.

A year later, and this thing is still holding up nicely! Definitely worth getting if you're looking for a sturdy mount for your phone, and it still works with pop-sockets, which I personally always use on my phone for better holding ergonomics. The adhesive for the mount is very strong and has not budged, even with extreme cold and heat here in Canada. The mounting hardware itself is fantastic. It rotates with a nice smooth ball bearing mechanism, and is nicely dampened to remain in its place once you find a position you like. The hinges are the same in that they are nicely dampened to allow some movement, but tight enough to ensure things remain solid and do not budge once set in place. The magnet ring is strong enough that is brings confidence that the phone will not drop when going over bumps - in fact, the winters here in Canada can get pretty rough and bumpy at times, and I have had zero issues with my phone falling off of the mount - not a single time did my phone fall off of the mount, it's great. The entire piece is made of a nice smooth finished metal, and it feels and performs of quality. This thing is rock solid, and I would definitely call it an end-game car mounting solution. There is one minor flaw. The painted black coating that covers the magnetic ring that's placed on the back of the phone has come off. Like 80% of it has fallen off at this point (I should probably manually remove the rest), but this is totally fine because there's a nice smooth metal layer underneath and it functions all the same. 10/10 product. The paint falling off the magnetic ring doesn't deserve a point removed in my opinion, as it's all function over fashion with this type of device for me, and it does its job flawlessly.
