Very well thought out product design. The zippers are metal and seem heavy duty, although if you have the pockets full they zip a little hard. Mats don't fit, but they didn't fit in the bigger case I bought and am returning. So, love this case! Review: I love the fact that I can use the Cricut without having to remove the machine from the case.
