Oh my god. This will be the death of my hair as I will use it quite frequently from now on. First of all, this device is not for all. Definitely there are certain hairs that will work well - thin long hair. I can see if you have short hair, 1 1/4 barrel won’t work at all and even 3/4 barrel might be challenging as doing the backside of your head will be very tricky. Thick hairs will take forever as you are supposed to put small part each time for the best result. The other thing I want to emphasize is that it works way better on dry hair. I did spray heat protectant and if I curl it right away when still wet, my hair got tangled. Wait a bit for it to dry then try. For the special occasions where I want really good curls, I might curl it without heat protectant but that will definitely damage my hair more. Also don’t forget to brush each section to make it smooth before putting it in the barrel. Even if it tangles, It wasn’t too hard for me to get the hair out. I think I lost a couple of hair strands but that happens even with the normal hair iron. The usage was super easy if I kept those I mentioned above in mind. It does take a while as I have quite a lot of long thin hair but I loved you can literally vibe while the machine does all the work. Also this was my first time using it. If you are a skilled normal hair iron user, this will bore you. I finished curling while sitting listening to music. No arm pain from holding the iron figuring out the directions scared of burning yourself! I’m so glad I found the hair iron I can finally use more consistently and will consider gifting it to people with the right hair type!

This is genuinely the best thing I've ever spent my money on. My hair type: 1B/1C straight, coarse, high-density Pros: Great, premium, metallic build; head-empty levels of ease of use; clear cover prevents burns; produces beautiful waves; double voltage; cord at the base of the iron rotates; beeps to tell you when it's done curling a section Cons: A bit expensive (but worth it IMO) I don't usually write reviews but I had to this time because I love this product so much. I have coarse hair that tends to get frizzy but doesn't hold its own wave or curl OR fall straight. I've always been insecure about how my hair looked because of this. Ever since I was a teen, I've always wanted wavy hair - not curly, but loose, natural waves. I've tried almost every heatless curling method, and all of them either looked messy, flat or didn't last. I've also tried the curly girl method, in case that would get me waves, but nada. Once I had the money, I decided I should invest in an actual curling iron. This is the first time I've ever used one and I'm so blown away at how easy it was to use! There was no learning curve for me at all - just remember to take the strand of hair over the * indicated in the clear cover. I pretty much just picked it up, turned on a podcast, and had a blast curling my hair - it only took me 30 minutes! I don't get stressed out about placing it down the counter or near my scalp because the clear cover makes me feel safe. And despite what the other reviews said, I've been able to get thicker sections of hair through the barrel just fine. I'm so, so happy they made this and at the 1 1/4" size! This also arrived 5 days earlier than expected.

With hair that goes all the way down my back, this makes curling my hair so easy! It is easy to use, curls my hair quickly, and doesn't leave my hair feeling fried. I like the option to pick the direction for curls or to alternate for a more natural look. Highly recommend this for long or mid length hair if you want beachy curls. The heat levels are easy to set and the clear plastic barrel prevents me from accidentally burning my fingers.

I love this curling iron and think it’s a great iron for beginners or those who struggle with curling hair. It’s incredibly easy to use and the settings make it easy to customize the curl.

Product was defective. Since it was an open box listed as mint condition, I opened the taped top packaging and plugged it in within 15 minutes of delivery. No power. Said to hold the button to power on for a few seconds and I held for over a minute. Nothing. Pushed all the other buttons and tried another outlet just to confirm. Still didn't work. Returned.
