My best Skechers yet
This is my 8th pair of Skechers slipons. I've had a number of different versions - Equalizer Double Play, Expected Gomel, Performance Go Walk 4. I have found them all to be comfortable and stylish. I walk 5-6 miles per day, so I need a shoe that is lightweight and comfortable. I was initially skeptical about the Go Walk Max's basketweave design sole (the round disks on the Performance Go Walk 4 regularly got gravel wedged in them but I really liked the Equalizer Double Play version). When my new Go Walk Maxes arrived I went out for a 4-mile walk, and I was amazed! The feel on the bottom of my foot was soft but substantial. I was already familiar with Skechers' Goga Max insole, so I knew I'd like that, but the injection-molded outsole provided even more cushioning than my well-loved and well-walked earlier pairs of Skechers and it gave noticeable bounceback on the pushoff. The uppers, as expected, were well-designed and well-made. They fit like a glove on my narrow foot and provided good air circulation and no chafing spots. The Go Walk Max is a real hit in my book!6-week update: Having now walked dozens of miles in these shoes, I can say that their fit and comfort has remained superb. They continue to fit my rather narrow fit like a pair of gloves. But I did have this insight: it's summer, and I walk in my Skechers without socks, which is great since they're so breathable. However, because they fit so tightly and don't have gussets on the tongue, they can take a little effort to get on (i.e., you can't just slip them on your feet standing up), though I don't experience this as a problem. However, I can't see having room to wear them with socks. So if you're planning to wear socks with the Go Walk Athletic Max slipons, I'd either order a size larger or, better yet, look for a pair of Skechers with expandable stretch gussets on the tongue of the shoe.

Comfortable, light, machine-washable & great for Intractable Plantar Keratosis (IPK) and diabetes
I just ordered my fourth pair of this particular model. I got these on the recommendation of my podiatrist who had just dug a hole in my foot to excise a cruel bout of IPK from the ball of my foot. If you're unfamiliar, it's a callus that forms on the sole of your foot and grows upward into the foot. It feels like landing on a nail with every step. It is attended to by routing it out from the foot with a conical file and a blade. It's not unpleasant enough to require anesthesia, but it was painful. My podiatrist told me this type of callus can be prone to growing back, especially if your shoes are not well-padded. One way to hinder its regrowth is to wear shoes that have exceptional padding on that part of the foot. I started wearing this model of shoe within days, and after three years, I'm able to walk without pain--and with only annual visits to my podiatrist to keep my feet in tip-top shape. I wear these on a daily basis, indoors and out. Because I'm diabetic and need to take extremely good care of my feet, it's required to wear something on my feet anytime I'm on them. These are easy to slip on and off so I keep a pair for indoor use only right next to my bed. When the pair I wear outdoors only starts to show wear, I cycle the indoor-only shoes to the outdoor cycle and get a new pair for indoor use. It's working out well so far. They are affordable, long-lasting, and non-slip indoors and out. I am a city-dweller and do a lot of walking on concrete and pavement. They hold up very well even with all that abuse. They offer proper support and the sufficient padding to keep the IPK from growing up into my foot again. They have a mesh top which is durable and attractive enough for wearing almost anyplace you would want a black shoe. I've work them hiking and to a funeral. I'd wear them on the Red Carpet if I had the occasion. Not only all that, they are machine washable (best washed alone so as not to snag the mesh)!

Pretty Good Shoes!
I’ve bought Skechers for many years, and these shoes are pretty much what I’d expect. I always get the same size, and they always fit just right. This pair was a bit more snug- and a little uncomfortable at first. However, Skechers cloth shoes ALWAYS stretch, so I wore them inside the house occasionally for a few days- and they are fine. There’s nothing wrong with these shoes at all, but I’ve purchased many Skechers that were similar. They are comfortable for about a year, but at that point the soles lose all support. If this model had soles that could be removed & replaced, I’d toss on one more star. Sadly, the soles are glued in permanently.I find Skechers convenient and comfy, and I like them. I like that the fit is consistent, as well. However- for the price, they really should last longer.

Skechers Men's Go Walk Max Shoes
These are very comfortable and the process was excellent. Good for long walks 3 miles. If you think you need the extra wide, you may not. Made the mistake on a purchase earlier this year on a blue pair. The wide fits my feet which on some Skechers take the extra wide !

Comfy shoes
I work in psychiatric healthcare and am on my feet 12+ hours a day, 13k or more steps a day, and sometimes have to participate in strenuous activities with patients that require some extra support (read between the lines). These shoes hold up well. I have noticeably less back pain and theyre deffinately some of the most comfy shoes I've owned. Downside is they only last me about 7-8 Mos a pair. Great shoes though

Helped eliminate my foot pain
I'm a senior citizen and was dealing with an increasing amount of pain in middle area of my feet. My podiatrist said that the cheap slip on tennis shoes I'd been buying weren't rigid enough and that was putting too much pressure on some areas. These have a much thicker and more rigid sole and it was a bit like learning to walk on high heels on the first day or two but I quickly got the hang of it. The pain in my feet disappeared pretty quickly and these have held up a lot better than the cheap ones I previously bought as well.

Comfy Soles but Need 3X Wide
Very tight fit even with extra wide. The lining has a lot to do with that. Maybe 3x wide but with the lining vs the gowalk modulating they are not as breathable. They are comfy on the soles to walk though just too snug.

So comfy and less impact on your ankles and knees.
Smart looking and unbelievably comfy. More comfortable than slippers and great for walking on concrete / tarmac.
