Amazing capability but too complicated
Love the sound. But this is not a keyboard you play immediately. The controls are not intuitive. Manual is confusing. The "Appendix" that.lists tones and rhythms is printed in light blue type and the small font size makes it difficult to tead. This is not a user friendly keyboard and is its complex registrations and functions are certain to frustrate even an experienced player. Plan to study and practice set ups for a long time before confidently playing this keyboard. Not for beginners!

Great Sound for the price.
Lots of sound for the buck. Once you get versed in all of the features you can really make some cool tunes. The features also allow you to meld in well with other musicians. One year in and it is working great. Only wish it had a good printout of all the sound selections.

Stopped working totally after very light use in 4 months
I had bought an over $400 Yamaha 61 key thru Amazon which had undergone a recent model number and quality change unbeknown to me so the excellent reviews that I read didn’t really didn’t apply as they were for a different model number. It sounded nothing like the audio recordings included with the reviews. I was very disillusioned with Yamaha and returned it and then I saw this one at a dealer. Wow !Beautiful touch and beautiful soundboard . It also has full size keys which was nice. It felt more like my old real piano. As the reviews said, it is a very complicated instrument though and can perfoi bought this item in June, 4 months ago. I loved it at first. The touch was great and the sound was good. But last week it wouldn't turn on and when it did it only stayed on a few seconds. I changed the batteries. It still stayed on for only a few seconds. And then it went dead. It had only very light use.
