Absolutely the best cooking pot for the price on the market
This thing is fantastic! I used to manage an outdoor shop, and I would be very stressed if I knew a competitor was selling this stove. It was $25? I think, which is $75-$100 cheaper than the name brand competition. This boils water as fast as a jet boil. 0.5L in two minutes (this is what a jet boil basically does, which changes with altitude, temperature, air pressure, fuel type etc etc etc). The weight is 163grams empty, and fits my 100gram gas canister, base, and burner. My burner is a swivel type, so the three blades rotate out and around the top, this makes it so it definitely fits inside the three recesses in the base of the pot. I’m sure the three fixed bladed burner will fit this fine, I just don’t have one of those to check. This is without a doubt, one of the best, if not the best backpacking pots on the market, for quality, efficiency, and price. Because it’s a quarter of the price of a jet boil. Another very good point in my opinion. I don’t like the jet boil because the stove burner is built into the pot, which makes it more efficient than this, but then you can never use the burner for anything other than that. I can take this pot off and fry something in a pan afterwards, or reheat a mug of coffee, I can give it to a friend and they can use my stove for all their gear, but you can’t do that with a jet boil. So this thing is genuinely fantastic, and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this product to people I care about.

Fire-Maple G3 600ml: Lightweight and Reliable for Camping and Backpacking
I’veq been using the Fire-Maple G3 Petrel 600ml pot for camping and backpacking trips, and I totally love it! It’s durable and super light at just 162g, so it doesn’t weigh down my pack, and it fits my Greenpeak1 stove like a glove. It’s the perfect size for cooking ramen or those pre-packaged backpacking meals. This pot cooks my meals perfectly without taking away any of the food’s flavor. The handle stays cool and feels sturdy, and cleaning it is a piece of cake. I’ve taken it on a bunch of trips, and it’s been awesome every time. If you’re looking for a solid, easy-to-use pot for camping, this one’s a winner!

Heats Fast, Fits the Right Stove, and Works Great on the Trail
I was looking for an economical pot for ultralight hiking, and this one really delivered. The price is great, it heats quickly, and the stainless steel feels durable and reliable. Just make sure you get the Fire-Maple Petrel G2 stove, because that’s the model this pot is actually compatible with — other stoves and brands may not fit as well. For solo cooking, it’s compact, functional, and perfect for simple meals on the trail. It doesn’t enhance flavor or anything like that, but it cooks evenly and everything I’ve made in it has tasted great. If you tend to eat larger portions, you might want the bigger version, but for me, this size has been just right. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase.

Great pot, especially when paired with the Fire Maple Greenpeak 2 Backpacking & Camping Stove
This pot is awesome! I am including my review of the Fire Maple Greenpeak 2 stove with this review for reference. As far as specifics for this product, the pot, it is on point. The perfect small size, making it extremely compact and easy to use. The pot is extremely usable with great heat levels (again using the Greenpeak 2 stove). The lid stays on well and functions adequately. The only two issues I have is the lid is hard to see through which allows you to miss when the water is boiling. The only other issue i have is the inside the pot fluid level marks are hard to read. But for the price-point use and size this thing is awesome. Here is my review for same brand stove I matched with the pot: I am replicating All, this stove is awesome! I have been an avid backpacker and hunter my whole life. I have owned and tried everything fro Colemans to MSRs, to JetBoils and etc. This size and price point of this stove and the G3 ultralight pot which I also reviewed is amazing! Especially compared to other brands and their price points and sizes. Being an off brand I was nervous, but I was looking for a ultra small pot to put in my pack for day hunting trips figuring if for some reason the stove didn't work, oh well I was only out one meal. Well after using it for the hunting season, I think this may replace my backpacking name brand stove for two or three night hikes! The size is amazingly small. The durability on point and with the previously mentioned pot with a small gas canister it all fits into one awesome package. After meeting a couple of my base camp partners int he woods and making them food, they now want one also. Well, I like this product so much that I bought to more stoves and pots to give them for holiday presents! I will try to take pictures the next time I am out with the kit and will update this review if for some reason the stove lets me down in the field; however, I used this for about 20 days this year without issues! BTW for reference I used this stove at around the 5,000 ft elevation level all the way down to sea level.

Super fast delivery by Amazon. I have wanted this pot for quite some time to cook ramen meals and pasta dishes on the trail. It mates up with my Firemaple Greenpeak stove or any stove with 3 pot stand legs. I was so eager to test out it's fast boil abilities I tried it right after I unboxed it with a full 800ml of water to brew up a pot of green tea. Boil time was roughly half the time it would take my 900ml titanium pot to boil (3:16)..... the pour spout is quite functional as I poured the finished brewed tea into a stainless bottle with no spills or drips. The handle has sufficient heat protection for your hand. The lid has a good fit and will not fall off when pouring. The heat exchanger ring and stove nesting slots make the unit stable and virtually unaffected by wind. If you want a light, super efficient cook kit, match this pot up with your high output stove like the greenpeak or pocket rocket 2.

Well made. Works well and is a good size. I have noticed that the heat sink fins on these type of cookware items do work faster in general but I don’t have a comparable pot without them to compare. It is aluminum I believe so you can simmer with it. It is the perfect size for most ramen noodle bundles so lives up to its name. There are a few of the “Petrel” pots. This one had slots on the bottom for three or four pot stand fins which cover most stoves. The two smaller ones have only slots for three fin pot stands.

Great piece of kit. To satisfy my curiosity I timed this pot boiling 750ml of water against several other stoves. This was the fastest, beating a Jetboil Flash, an Alpkit Brukit (jetboil copy) and the same burner (FireMaple FMS300T titanium). under a plain titanium pot. It boiled 750ml of water in 3min 50s. The Jetboil took 5min 40s and the plain titanium pot took 8 mins. A clear gold star for the FireMaple and proof that the heat exchanger really does work. The neoprene sleeve is also very useful; almost vital. Only thing I would suggest is that a titanium version is made to further decrease the weight - which is already pretty good.
