I bought this before I ended up purchasing a gravity water fountain thing. I bought this because my dumb cat was in a dumping his water all over the floor phase. It was either get rid of the dumb cat or figure out how to give the dumb cat water in a bowl he can't tip. It did work, but it's quite small, which I was aware of at the time I purchased. The blue is just as pictured. It's a nice, sturdy little bowl. I did end up buying something else, but the bowl worked while I used it.

This is the perfect solution for guineas who like to tip their bowls or struggle to reach food at the bottom of the more conventional, deeper styles. It's sturdy, wide and shallow enough to allow easy access to all of the food in their bowl leading to so much less waste! One of my little guys did attempt to tip it a few days in (a few months ago now..) but I startled him as he started to lift the side and he hasn't attempted it since lol. Highly recommend this product!

My 2 year-old Shih Tzu has had an aversion to his water dish forever and was having kidney and bladder infections from not drinking enough water — he would sometimes get water up his nose and “snort/choke” which made him afraid of his bowl. We had tried all kinds of bowls and dishes and even an upright watering device that you would use for rabbits or guinea pigs but this little bowl did the trick!! He loves his water bowl now and drinks water on and off all day long and is no longer afraid to drink! I keep an eye on this dish and refill when it gets to half full, since it doesn’t hold as much as the bigger bowls. But he would literally go all day without drinking before this bowl! A real God-send bc he is no longer having bladder or kidney infections!

I bought two of these, both are smaller than expected. They do not tip which is nice, just wish they had a little weight to them so they didn’t move since it does still spill.

We use these bowls for our rabbits & they are fabulous! There is a large lip on the outside of the bowl that the rabbit must stand on in order to eat/drink. No more flipped bowls or water spills! These are hands down the best bowls for use with free roam animals! (I would not recommend these in an animal enclosure as they do have a large surface area & would take up too much space.)

Not good for rabbits. I ordered the large STAYbowl since it is for my rabbit and not a small guinea pig. My rabbit turned the bowl over on the first day we had it! The bowl is really shallow for a bunny and I thought since it is so shallow, he would simply eat his food and not tip it over. Nope! The only good thing is that because it’s so shallow, there’s much less food in the bowl which means when my rabbit turns it over, there is less food all over the floor. The concept is good and it probably works for really small animals, but for an average size bunny it just doesn’t work.

They work perfectly. There’s always one in the bunch that has to tip the bowls, ugh. This is working perfectly. No more tipped pellet bowls for my girls.

Functions as it should =P I thought it would be a silicone-like plastic but it's hard plastic (I'm sure the description says so but I didn't read into it). Doesn't make a difference for the tip-proof-ness but will slide around if on a smooth flat surface
