The case it self is on the heavy side. If you dropped it or if something heavy dropped on it the drone would be well protected. NOTE the N3 headset does not fit in this case the site says it does but it definitely does not.I cut my foam to fit the headset. Also note if you have ND filters and cut the foam to make the N3 headset fit you will lose the slot for the ND filter case.
