Unusable - battery box missing
Do not buy this train set. Battery box missing and so was uusable. Had to be returned.

Won’t last long, be warned
Nice little train set but didn’t last long before the engine would no longer pair with the remote. Cheap materials as usual. One disappointed kid.

Very expensive for what it is, a Hornby Xmas train is cheaper
We had another train set which went under the xmas tree which was not dissimilar to this, lets just say the quality is far from 'Hornby' but this set is actually more expensive than the Hornby 'Santa's Express' (Currently £72.99 and has been cheaper). Ok this adds a few features that the Hornby doesn't e.g steaming, light and remote control but the whole thing feels cheap and doesn't warrant the price. If it was my money I'd be buying elsewhere.
