I recently picked up this large container of diced dehydrated green bell peppers, and I’m really glad I did. These little flavor-packed pieces are a fantastic way to add that signature green bell pepper tang to dishes without worrying about fresh peppers spoiling in the fridge. The texture isn’t exactly like fresh—especially if you’re trying to sauté them—but the flavor more than makes up for it. They shine in dishes like chili, tomato sauces, soups, or any recipe where green pepper adds depth. For sauces and soups, you can toss them right in and they rehydrate within minutes. If you're planning to sauté them, I’d recommend pre-soaking them in just enough water—not too much, or they’ll turn soggy. With a bit of practice, it's easy to get the rehydration just right. The container is large, but that’s actually a plus—it means I’ll have plenty on hand for months. For the price and versatility, this is a great pantry staple, and I’d absolutely recommend it to home cooks who want flavor without the hassle of perishables.

We use the freeze dried bell peppers in cooking. They work great and do not taste much different then fresh bell peppers. They go along way in the kitchen!

This is such a great idea. I use this for my meatloaf and would forget this one ingredient at the store. Now it’s in my cabinet. Love it.

Convenient to have. Makes food tastier! Although the pieces are small. Ok to use if soup or omelets. Can hydrate first or just place in soup directly.

Great product to add to chili, meatloaf, scrambled eggs etc. I was concerned because it looked black; however , it was great. Once it absorbed the liquid, it was fine. I do not always have a pepper when I need one…..so this is great for me.
