You might could see a bit of color if you were wearing black. I'm 5'4" and it is not as long as the robe pictured robe. It's mid-thigh. I like it but I'm still looking for the perfect robe. I want one with some stretch in the fabric and a tab bit longer. **Q: will it fit a 2X?** A: No; fits somewhere between L and XL. **Q: Size?** A: Size is rather large and too long for 5 ft.2". Fabric is good and style is good. Hope this helps. **Q: what is the length of this robe?** A: I bought it for someone who is 5 ft 7 in tall. It is about calf length. However, it is not 100% cotton. I didn't return it as it was a gift and I didn't have time. Bit if the content is important... Then only order if you don't mind poly cotton.
