Punches way above its price point!
If you're into 1/10 scale drifting, the Hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 ESC is an absolute must-have! Iโve been using this ESC for a few weeks now, and it has completely transformed my drifting experience. First off, the performance is outstanding. The throttle control is smooth and precise, which is crucial for maintaining those long, controlled slides. It handles the power distribution perfectly and gives me the confidence to push my car to the limit. Whether I'm on a track or just doing some freestyle drifting, the response is instant, making it super fun and easy to control. One of the best things about the 10BL120 is how tunable it is. There are multiple parameters you can adjust to match your driving style, such as punch control, brake strength, and even drag brake settings. This level of customization allows me to fine-tune the car for maximum control and performance. The build quality is excellent as well. It feels solid and durable, ready to handle the vibrations and stresses of drifting. The installation was straightforward, and the compact design fits perfectly into my 1/10 scale chassis without taking up too much space. The value for the price is incredible. The features you get at this price point are hard to beat. It's not the most expensive ESC out there, but it delivers a performance that rivals higher-end models, which makes it a great deal for any serious drifter looking for quality without breaking the bank. Overall, the Hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 ESC is a fantastic investment for anyone serious about 1/10 scale drifting. The precise control, durability, and customization options make it an essential part of my setup. I highly recommend it to anyone in the hobby!

Amazing ESC
Iโve been into the hobby for some time. Hobbywing used to be an off-brand, but they have really made a name for themselves now. This product shows it; it looks amazing and comes at a great price point.

My new go-to sensored ESC
I got this to control a 4.5-turn (7800KV) 2-pole sensored brushless motor in my Team Associated RC10B74 4WD buggy on 2S LiPo. It replaces a Castle Sidewinder 4 and a 3800KV 4-pole sensored brushless motor. The 4.5-turn motor is rated to pull 109 amps and this is too much for the sensorless Sidewinder 4, so I had a need for another ESC. I chose this one because it is rated for 120 amps continuous and 760 amps peak current. Beefy. In my short runs so far, the ESC has remained cool to the touch, and the low speed control with sensored operation has been buttery smooth with the minimum speed for my setup being below walking speed. I am using a 78-tooth spur gear and a 19-tooth pinion with a 2.5:1 main drive ratio, for a final gear ratio of 10.26:1. I use the default off-the-line power setting of "7" and my RC10B74 has no bad habits off the line. I may try upping that setting to see if I can get any bad habits to arise. I use the LCD programmer Pro to program this ESC, as I could not imagine programming this ESC with the button on the power switch and the transmitter while keeping track of the beeps to know where I am in the process. With the LCD Pro programmer, each setting of the ESC is written out in the LCD screen and you select that setting to get the list of options, again written out; for example "forward w/braking" or "forward w/reverse and braking". Easy as pie as there is no referencing the list in the manual of setting 1, option 1 etc; it's all written out in the LCD Pro programmer.

Hasn't failed me yet
This is one of my goto ESC's. This version has more program options and allows you to reverse the motor direction when running sensored. I had an older version that didn't allow that so I just couldn't use it in certain cars sensored. It has a pretty quiet switching noise also. You will damage it if you submerge it in water but it has held up fine to light moisture. I ran the older version unsensored for a couple years and it never failed, I assume this one should hold up just as well.

Perfect ESC for a 1/10 scale drift car
Works like a champ right out of the box With all of the needed installations parts like pre cut double sided sticky tape, 2 zip ties, and instruction manual. I paired this ESC with a hobby wing 3650 G2 sensored brushless motor.
