Review: These do work - I saw a lot of people saying they don't in the reviews. Two things; install and use the Adafruit servo drivers as instructed in the website linked here. Also, make SURE you solder the jumpers to select your VCC. If you don't do that your servos won't be powered. Finally make sure you power up the green gang connector with 5-6V as the board does not power up from the shield. Do these things and I assure you it will work. Leave the address jumpers blank and the example is configured for it already.
Review: Not for the faint of heart - I got this for a robotic arm project that I am working on and it works well. It makes connecting many servos to a microcontroller much easier. It uses the IIC protocol for communications so it is a bit different to code for when you are used to coding and wiring each individual servo to the microcontroller itself, but once you get one servo working, the rest is a breeze. I would definitely recommend this item for more advanced projects. It saves a bunch of time and hassle in the long run.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but not much information online about it.
*by B***T on December 3, 2025*

A little bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to the library then it works fine. Not very clear which library should be used so I had to do some extra research to find out that the adafruit library was the right one.
