Powers all 4 door speakers and a subwoofer very well. I’m very impressed with the output on the sub channel. Nice and compact, but packs a punch! No overheating issues so far

I doubt you will find an amp that outperforms this Stinger anywhere near its price point. I purchased a Stinger HEIGH10 unit and a Stinger Tailgate sub to replace my factory system in my Jeep JKU and this amp blew me away from the second that I fired it up. Man, what a difference it made in my jeep. I would highly recommend this amp for anyone looking for an upgrade to this system. Sound is amazing, very easy to install, runs pretty cool even when driving it, The size is a little big for under the Jeep seat but it fit, quality is amazing!!

Bought this amp for my 86C10 and ended up using on my civic si. I love this amp have it on some Alpine 10 in subs down to 2 oms and it sounds damn good. I have the bass nob hooked up and it's a little touchy it just doesn't take much movement to turn up or down. I like it so much I bought another one to replace it for my 86 C10

Pound for pound one of the best on the market. What you see on its specs is exactly what you'll get. Right now we are in a market where most manufacturers post false ratings. Not Stinger!!!!! I've purchased probably 5 amps from them, my friend owns a shop so I take them and dyno test them personally. Most install shops won't carry Stinger because the price isn't high enough to add a lot of mark up, trust me they are familiar with stinger too.

This little amp is a powerhouse. Used it to retrofit Burmester in a Merc. C300 Base and added a 12" sub. Very flexible options for input signals and crossovers very quiet and small. Its hands down a great option for a simple system at ANY price point. Regarding the complaints of weak bass output here- one of the first two (channel one or two) is wired BACKWARDS so although you may hear sound, the sub channel will basically have no output. To test for this, disconnect one of the RCAs- if your bass all of a sudden goes crazy, then you have found your problem. Cut one of the input RCAs, reverse the wiring and plug it back in,

Good value for the money, great choice in upgrading / repairing the hacked-up 12-speaker JBL system in my father's Avalon. Pro tip for this sort of situation, eight 4-ohm speakers wired in series pairs, makes for 8 ohm circuits and you only have to crank the gains up a little more.

This amp is the perfect balance in power between the 4 channel highs and the sub amp portion. Most 5 channels at any price point have a much weaker sub amp only being equal in power to the to the 4 channel portion. Signal is super clean and free of any noise in my install. The sub amp seems very true to its rating. The last install I did was some years ago and was a Rockford Fosgate Power 600A4 and a Power 800A2, in terms of power and quality this little amp is an equal to the high end Giants of yesteryear. It is a crime this amp dropped in price, at $300 this amp would still be an amazing deal! At the current price of $143 JUST BUY IT!!!!!!!!!

This is second stinger amp I got. The first one to be fair got delayed and then somehow supposedly got delivered after I cancelled it only to walk out my door the later that night and it was gone. I’m assuming the carrier came back to pick it up. The second one I received on time and after I hooked it up it doesn’t turn on. I checked all my wiring and the speaker load and it should be with the tolerances of the amp but it doesn’t work. I have a 10 in stinger player in my jeep and it works fine. I hope this is just coincidence.

I am specifically talking about the Stinger MT-1000.5 amp. I am mentioning this because I see reviews that are not related to what you are looking at some times! Anyways, this amp is pretty small and fit under my seat very well. I have an Atoto head unit, Cerwin Vega component speakers front and rear and a Sony 10" sub in a ported Bassworx box. The audio quality is great! The sub pounds and it can go loud if you want and still sounds great at lower volumes. I can't believe I get everything I want out of one little amp. And the price was really good too. My car never sounded so good! I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a 5 channel solution. I'll try to remember to follow up in a month or so.
