They are zinc plated steel sheets, they are magnetic. If you are using these to electroplate, as advertised, once you've used up the layer or zinc the underlying steel will rust and contaminate your bath.

You dont need this for elatroplating....roofing zinc is way cheaper. I am not doing any hardcore chemistry so this was a waste of money for me.

Great Product

Place these on the roof and glue them down certain area with roof tar allows rain water run off onto the shingles no more moss. A cheap solution to a problematic problem that can lead to roof repairs if not, kept under control.

I wanted something that would prohibit rust from forming on tools and fasteners and I wanted to do it quickly. I can zinc plate with these zinc anodes in 2-3 minutes and have good results.
