Pretty to look at but not at all functional
Very disappointed with this purchase. It’s beautifully made, but that’s as far as it goes. First and foremost, the measurements are completely off. I double checked with a few other measuring cups, jugs, and even baby bottles (these need to be accurate!!!), 150ml came up to about only 100ml on this Mason Cash measuring jug. That is NOT acceptable!! Next, the liquid spills no matter how carefully I pour it out. Even when I limit the flow to just the spout area, the liquid dribbles down the front of the jug. I tried pouring faster, slower, it didn’t work. It makes a mess every single time.

Lovely measuring jug
I use this jug every time I bake. I love it as it matches my mixing bowl. It’s heavy and sturdy. I can’t confirm if the measurements marked out are correct though. I read another review that said they weren’t. I am not bothered as I use scales!

Hefty measuring cup the doubles as a small mixing bowl.
My wife loves this cup for its sturdiness and utility. It is also nice looking.

Was für Traditionsbewusste
Mason & Cash ist eine sehr alte Firma. Der Messbecher tut wohl schon seit dem Jahr 1800 seine Pflicht. Er ist sehr hübsch, innen von einem zarten, ins Violette spielende Rosa, außen creme. Allerdings sollte man kräftige Handgelenke haben. Verglichen mit weniger traditionellen Küchengerätschaften ist er ziemlich schwer. Trotzdem habe ich mich schnell an ihn gewöhnt. Er hat eine Tülle, die so geschnitten ist, dass sie nicht tropft. Man kann also auch Zähflüssiges ohne Probleme direkt in die Pfanne gießen, ohne dass es kleckert. Tolles Teil, würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen!
